The recent lore events just feel small

Jokes aside(for those who saw the memes and games post)

The lore written is very well, some of it excellent and some of it average, settling for a nice solid 7/10 overall(sorry but things like LotR is 9/10 for me).

But the events come nowhere close to Burning Tides, Shurima or Freljord. They have felt small and uninvolved for anybody who doesn't specifically go to the Universe page and read everything. It took me till today to even realize there had been a Zaun event. And the Demacian one was like "Here is some bios and stories. bye".

Compare that to the scale and importance of the aforementioned events, and I feel a lot was lacking. No minigames, no multiple releases/reworks, no in-client/in-game involvement. It really feels like a shame, I'd love more big events and very involved stuff with cool side content. And don't pull a blizzard and tell me they don't have the money to do it either.

Anyway, just my one and only complaint about the recent lore updates(well maybe also how the fuck does Shyvana hide that she uses magic and is completely inhuman), which otherwise have been awesome. Tootles.

Yes the lore events are rather small(I think these updates aren't even considered real events) but I prefer it that way, becuase they are able to work a lot faster this way than they were before. I mean in 2015 we only got 2 "events"(Burning tides and harrowing) that updated the lores of 9 champs But in 2016 we got twice as much(Targon,Shurima,Shadow isles,Piltover) that updated the lores of 20 champs And now 2017 we've got already 2 updates(Zaun and Demacia) updating the lores of 15 champs already.

And thats not even counting the lore pieces that were released alongside the universe page!

I believe Riot is really setting up the world of Runeterra right now. We need a base to start from in order to have major events. Right now we are gaining a more clear picture of each city-state/country/region of the land. Once that is settled wars and huge events can start taking place.

Small but more frequent. Sucks that we won't get something like butchers bridge, but more of the world is introduced.
