Big opportunity for Pantheon VGU and Chroma

Pantheon is sitting on a great opportunity. See, you have some fans that still want him to look like a Spartan after his VGU. Him being a Spartan is a trope LoL used when it was less original and had less of a world/style. He obviously is not that, he's the Targonian Aspect of War. Not a Spartan. This game does'nt take place in Greek mythology

But these "Spartan" fans can still be satisfied. See, he has a Myrmidon skin. Myrmidons were Greek soldiers in Greek mythology. So that skin is kind of stuck to having that "sword and sandal" look that some of these fans want. So here is where the big opportunity comes in. With his VGU, include a Chroma pack for the Myrmidon skin and have one of the colors be the same colors as his current base skin. Boom. That old Pantheon that some don't want to get rid of lives on.

when they give Pantheon his VGU

the only skins that will get the least affected are Dragonslayer, Slayer and Baker with their splashes slightly modified to reflect his new appearance

I bet he will look like a sparta again but with some majestic twists like he has some celestial aspects. for ex. a cape that has stars or constellations(see cosmic rakans cape) because he is now not a normal human being but a celestial being and targon has its own theme, the celestial/space theme and by mixing sparta warrior+celestial aspects is a unique way to introduce pantheon in runeterra and not some generic kinda warrior.

I'm pretty sure we already have an idea of what he'll look like from possibly two sources.

"A cloud passed in front of the sun, allowing the warrior to be seen more clearly. He was bedecked in armor of archaic design, though his arms and legs were bare and tautly muscled. His cloak was deep crimson, though in the twilight it seemed as if stars gleamed in the shimmering fabric. That starlight also glittered in his unrelenting gaze, shadowed within the visor slits of his helm." - The Spear of Targon

Unless they plan on changing this bit in his lore, it's how he'll look.

The other possible source is the season 5 theme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kbx3tYYn5kA

No.

A god of war doesn't need to show people how big his dick is by overly dressing up like someone who thinks it looks cool. A god of war should be designed as an efficient soldier.

Because war is fought by soldiers damn it. People trained and disciplined in their art.

Pantheon doesn't have to look super spartan, but he needs to look like someone who won't fall over because of his own weight in weaponry. We have Mordekaiser for that.

As long as the not-space parasite skin was made available for purchase. Sure, I'd be ok with this solution.

Just so long as I don't have to deal with playing as the wannabe deity, and get good old Lakedaemonian fun. I'm good.

I am almost positive Pantheon new look is only going to be a modification, similar to Warwick (where any 'god parts' that are added are like the tubes that were added to ww) aka basically the same. After all we have a sufficient evidence in lore that supports his spartan look will stay.
