The State of Annie's Lore and Base Skin
Annie was one of my first champions, and she really helped me ease into the game with her simple but effective ability set. Needless to say, I have a little bit of lasting endearment for this champion.
That being said, I think there is a disconnect between her character lore and her base skin: she's part of an occult group of dark magicians banished to the wilderness, but she looks like a little schoolgirl from a big city who is interested in make believe tea parties and other childish concerns. I see two options: either she ditches the little schoolgirl look for a "child of the wild" look, with primal markings and poorly made fabric clothing, or, and more to my liking, her lore changes to this:
Orphaned at a very young age when her parents died in a house fire, Annie has drifted from orphanage to orphanage over her short life, leaving an inexplicable trail of fires in her path. At each place, many of the survivors remarked that she was an odd child, and while she may come off as innocent, clutching her little toy bear, she becomes menacing when threatened or rejected. A few of the survivors even claim that her toy bear can be willed to life, surrounded by flames. Regardless of what is true and what is superstition, the girl possesses great magical potential. Only time will tell what she will grow up into.
For me, this wraps up her in-game identity perfectly with her lore. Of course she would be wearing a short dress, with cat ear headbands, and a backpack. Of course she would be into tea parties with stuffed animals. Of course she's a creepy little girl with a pyromaniacal streak.
