Demacian Lore Question

Hey guys, keeping aside personal opinion, likes/dislikes, etc. From a story stand point, I had a hypothetical question. If there were a scenario where Quinn actually got married to J4 (keep in mind that there are a lot of hints regarding the relationship from the story and from some lore writers), how would someone who grew up to become a scout and always been out in the wilderness adapt to the lifestyle of royalty in a place, i.e debating with politicians, passing laws, passing judgments, sending criminals to prison, passing execution decrees and ruling in general? Or would she do pretty much the same thing she is doing right now? Scouting? Wouldn't that be dangerous for a Queen to do by herself? That said, how could she grasp and rule like a proper leader and crush scum/villainy wherever it may lurk under her heel? And, hypothetically, if the King and Queen had a kid, boy heir, Jarvan V, who on earth will spend time with this kid when his mom is always outside scouting and his dad is always busy with "royal things" ? Better yet, who would protect this kid from being targeted or attacked? Judging by the lifestyle of Quinn, I don't think she will sit on a throne all day long. Just saying.

Considering what we learned from Fiora's new lore um....would a Queen be expected to do anything except have children?

Depends on who you ask. I mean we have aristocratic perspective but we've seen that Quinn and her Brother lived their lives as equals, implying a very balanced and gender neutral childhood. The issues Fiora faces might be a capital issue, and Valor might just peck someone's eyes out if they said "You're just here to have kids, nothing more" to Quinn.

The Quinn and j4 thing, if they had a kid aka jarvan v, what would people reaction he in nobles since the kids mom was a peasant commoner low or middle-class farmer turned scout

I suppose it would depend on Jarvan more than Quinn herself. I'd imagine such a thing might be a bit of a scandal, but if Jarvan was the king at the time it'd probably get a buy, and potentially have larger ramifications for social structures in the Demacian aristocracy further down the road. If Jarvan was just the prince that might end up hurting his position in politics and be a big point of contention. More drama in the latter but greater change possible in the former. Either way the son or daughter's upbringing isn't something I can speak to itself, as that'd come down to just how Quinn and Jarvan would raise him/her.

So you are saying that demacian noble wouldn't care if their son jarvan v is the offspring of a upstart farmer girl turned scout?

Oh they'd care, I just don't know how severely it'd affect their view of the child. I mean if they're supporters of the Lightshield's I guess they'd be a bit more in favour of things, but if they weren't they'd probably never give their blessings for that child to run the nation.

So in terms of crime, Scum and villany, can Quinn crush this under her heel as a queen or will it be difficult to accomplish?

Valor is the nurse, the nanny, the chef, and occasionally....the dinner.

I get the impression from what we've seen in the lore that J4 is actually rather more radical in terms of his personal policies than his parents and the rest of the current Demacian monarchy are. Two of his most trusted agents are a half-dragon that nobody else would touch (and would probably be happier banishing/having executed) and what most Demacian royalty would consider an uppity commoner after all.

So if he ended up marrying said commoner, I imagine J4 would just say, "She's her own woman and can do as she wishes."

Which would probably wind up having pretty big political repercussions down the road if J4 was ever in a position to take the throne. And I don't think it's ever been stated if he has siblings or is an only child, which would effect if he'd even get said throne or just be shuffled off to his own little corner of the kingdom to stay out of the main monarchy's hair.

And as for raising a child, this is why royalty hires nannies.

Yeah, usually called a wet nurse.

A wet nurse is a woman who breast feeds and cares for another's child. Wet nurses are employed when the mother is unable or chooses not to nurse the child herself. Wet-nursed children may be known as "milk-siblings", and in some cultures the families are linked by a special relationship of milk kinship.

So your saying it will be some creepy old lady? Quinn would probably freak out.

well not necessarily old... the wet nurse is able to breastfeed because she would've also recently had a child. So it'd likely be someone around the same age as Quinn, give or take a few years. It'd also probably be hand-picked from a selection of applicants.

Would Quinn like some other woman handling her child son, I am guessing trust issues, since Quinn is really quirky. But she probably will get accused a lot by Quinn for doing something wrong if it happened

in this case, yeah. There'd Likely be an audition of sorts, from all sorts of preggers ladies hoping to "get the job" (being part of the royal family probably pays pretty well). Then yeah, J4 and Quinn would pick which one they want.

Imagine the nanny is a noxian spy and tries to assassinate their boy, what type of punishment would there be for the nanny in these case? I take it, Quinn would do something to the spy?

Do you really think J4 does any of those things? So far what riot lore has told me is that J4 is a spoiled kid that alwasy gets his country in trouble.
