As a member of the anime community: canon isn't enough to stop a ship.
This line didn't make sense to me because Ez and Lux are listed as friends on their champion pages. Which means her new VO retcons. x.x
Gonna be honest: I've had a pretty shitty past few weeks, but the moment I heard that line my day brightened.
Well Ezreal got retconned away from Demacia to Piltover, so it doesn't really make sense for them to be a canon couple.

I got a hell of a good laugh hearing that. Im not against it but god i was imaging people's reactions.
This just means Riot cares about their lore, and don't just follow random, idiotic fandom shippings.
It never made much sense particularly after they revamped the lore (and it was always prettttttty dumb wasn't it?)
