The Maiden isn't a "ghost" or even a specific entity, more the manifestation of the "will" of the portion of the evil of the Shadow Isles which Yorick has been able to subdue.

I really think the guy could use a shipment of holy hand grenades, a blessed rocket launcher,a hallowed machine gun and a sanctified nuke. Perhaps some holy water, a few stakes preferably made out of silver and a ring of garlic for good measure.
