Seriously? Kalista can't have an ordinary skin?
Other than her release skin...her next two skins we're esports theme'd skins. Like wow, can't she have one of the other many skinlines league of legends have? I, for one, find this very frustrating.

They gave her the worlds skins becasue she had the biggest impact on pro play that year. It just so happens that SKT Bang is also really good with Kalista and was undefeated on her professionally at the time of them winning worlds. This is why Bang himself as well as other people who follow the scene wanted SKT Kalista.
Just a really unfortunate set of events that she was a power pick and a favorite of a player that won worlds.
They did mention in the SKT context thread on the PBE boards how they have, or had, another skin in production for Kali before they made SKT Kali. I say "had" because it's possible they put that skin on hold while making SKT Kali. So she should be getting a non-esports, non-legacy skin sometime soon.
It certainly sucks for Kalista players to have only one skin that isn't esports-related or a legacy skin that they can buy. Hopefully, they'll rectify that soon.
She'll get hers in due time. These SKT skins have been consuming a lot of the skin team's resources, and you'll be happy to know that eSports skins don't qualify as "that champ recently got a skin so pass them over" due to the special circumstances in which they receive eSports skins.
