Reasons why Master Yi and Talon SHOULD know each other if Riot updates their lore

  • Noxus and Ionia fought each other during the war
  • They both fought in the war
  • Talon has already 2 Ionian themed skins ( Dragon Blade and Blood Moon )
  • They must have met at least once during the war
  • They both are obsessed with blades
  • They share the same pose on two splash arts ( shown below ) http://i.imgur.com/qnvlB6I.png
  • They are both melee and die from a stun ( XD )
  • Master Yi's lore is outdated because Wukong now belongs to Vastaya, not Ionia
  • Riot REALLY should build up relationships between champions. It's impossible that Noxians and Ionians never have met.

It was never said that Talon fought in the war and even if he participated in it,he is an assassin not a frontline fighter,so there isn't a high chance that he and Yi met with each other(not to mention that Ionia is huge,its a whole continent)

  • Talon has already 2 Ionian themed skins ( Dragon Blade and Blood Moon )

Skins have nothing to do with canon and while their poses in these splashes are similar,they are actually not the same(talon jumps at his enemy,trying to stab them,yi just cut through his enemy)

  • Master Yi's lore is outdated because Wukong now belongs to Vastaya, not Ionia

Vastaya are a race,not a place.(and said race even originated in ionia) Wukong is a vastaya who was born in ionia and still lives there. Heck his new lore even confirms that he is still Yis disciple.

  • Riot REALLY should build up relationships between champions. It's impossible that Noxians and Ionians never have met.

Well Yi is already related to MonkeyKing,Jhin(a rioter commented that the wuju school outshined the school of jhins father) and Noxus as a whole Meanwhile Talon has relations to Katarina Cassiopeia Swain and it looks like riot plans to make him the noxian counterpart to Quinn

What? so because right now Wukong is from the Vastayan race instead of just "A big monkey that can talk and fight" his lore remade when he was revealed as Vastayan that ties him with master Yi again as student and master is outdated?

I have an idea. What if when Talon gets a lore update it would be something like this: Talon figures out that he means nothing for Noxus's ruler but a weapon. The only reason Talon was able to became a Du Couteau is nothing else, but his power. He realized that no one ever loved him and starts to change his ideology about the world. He escapes during a battle and a rumor spreads about he is dead. He escapes to Ionia and meets Yi who wants to kill him, but Instead Talon cuts his neck and runs away. But Yi survives and one day later they meet again... And because of Yi has a quote "Anger gives motivation without purpose." he thinks again and forgives him. And seeing that Talon's look is really pity and pathetic ( he was wandering in Ionia and became homeless again ) he starts to feel sorry for him instead of anger and he offers him to come to his house and at least wash his face and eat something.

I bet that, if they met in a war... at least one of them would be already dead.

But no they arent, so, i think that is safe to say that they have never met.

Vastayan is a race, indigenous to ionia. If talon were to meet Yi before the bombing of his home Yi would've killed him. During the invasions Noxus just kept feeding yi so he proceeded to dunk their team. Noxus rage quit and perma banned his home instead cause they feared wuju
