Her new lore really doesn't do her old personality justice. Wasn't she supposed to dislike killing? So why rewrite her to be so willing to strike Diana down and remain a willing puppet of a clearly-corrupt Solari order?

Was the old "goody two-shoes" Leona considered impossible to work with? I mean, look at how she took those raiders out. Not even one word of "Surrender and I'll let you live"?

Somehow I knew Riot would screw up something with the Mount Targon lore, and it just HAD to be my favorite Solari.

Personally, I like this better.

You can't be raised in a society like the Rakkoran one if you aren't at least indifferent to death.

I don't think she is as bad as you think.

She is definetly darker than before,"trying to hunt down the heretic" and "growing angrier with every word of diana" and so on,however she is not a blind zealot.

Panths lore describes how she is rather passive,not wanting to hunt down enemies. In her own lore she spared the golden boy,got nearly killed for it and while she was trying to hunt down diana at first,she now might have realized that she was in the wrong here. The fact that she has something rather undoubtly evil inside her is interesting,but she doesn't get controlled by it.

Did you not read the part about being ousted by her own people for helping the golden skinned boy?

She's still compassionate as an individual, but there's more too her than that.

I think Leona developed her protector personality after she infused with the sun.

When the barbarians invaded, the being inside her wanted nothing more than to kill them all, but she held it down, wanting instead to hold position. Same in Pantheons lore, instead of pursuing them, she elected to stay a defend the villages from attack.

Yes she wanted to pursue Diana to the ends of the earth to kill her, but now it sounds as if she is tracking her to desperately tell her something. The other half of ancient lore that Diana knows she is missing maybe?
