Worry not, Trundle splashes are already under development! We are still early on them but early concepts are looking pretty amazing so far!

As Sion is my 3rd most mastery point champion I want them as well! They are high priority since he doesn't really have any high quality skin splash's at the moment.

We were actually debating for a bit between doing Sion or Trundle but we decided Trundles skin splash art deviated much more from his models then Sion.

Trundle, Tristana and Nidalee are already in the works for skin splash art updates, that being said, every champion that received a Visual Update in the past will receive new splash arts (not counting group art and skins dating back to 2014)

They've already said that Trundle,Nidalee and tristana are right now the top priorities for skin splash art updates.

Who cares about skins splash arts when they havent even updated the acctual champions who need new splash arts like warwick , xin zhao rammus kennen etc

The amount of time that goes into a base splash is infinity more then what goes into a skin splash. We also have the ability to outsource the skin splashes while we would never outsource a base splash due to the level of fidelity and scrutiny it would need.

I'm not challenging what you're saying or anything, but the new blacksmith Poppy is currently the best splash art in existence, and that's a skin.

Yeah! That one is awesome! The same guy did Frozen Shen as well and is working on Concept for one of the Taric skin splashes! There will still be new base splashes made. It is just different people working on them then the champion update team.

Who's doing the base nidalee splash? I hope it's whoever did the ezreal and frosted ez skins because he seems like someone who can bring some more distinctness to someone's face without contradicting what was there before... js. Dudes amazing.

But yeah I hope you guys do more new base splashes and even vus, for champs who aren't being reworked. Kennen is a great example of a champ who could use visual love but isn't really badly in need of a full vgu (I don't think? I don't play kennen)

Nidalee already had her base splash updated together with her visual update, i don't think she is getting it updated again, they are talking about her skins probably

Id be really surprised if they didn't. Ezreal has had a few different versions. And nids splash is pretty dated looking

Lol Nids looks a lot better then a lot of other champs (cough, Warwick/Kennen/Swain/Rammus/Fiddle/etc.)

I think fiddles looks pretty good... yeah theres a lot of others that look dated though. they prob wont do warwick's until they do a full vgu on him. But some champs that need new base splashes... def rammus and kennen, and swain nid and irelia all come to mind too

Correct. We arn't currently planning on updating Nid's base splash just most of her skin splash art (Warring Kingdoms, Headhunter and Challenger won't be getting updates)

I actually have been thinking of getting a custom skin for origional Trundle. It was SOOOO hideous, and that was entirely the point. I miss it. And I miss his old Lore.

What about any of the Sivir splashes? I know most of her ones are already updated due to most of them being released after her rework, but 1 or 2 are still in need of an update, Spectacular Sivir for example.
