More lore on Bloodlord Vladimir and his armor's origin would be so cool.
There's a Minecraft mod called Blood Magic. It's a fun little twist on the game where you build occult altars, trap the souls and essence of dangerous creatures and smoke exotic incense to abuse the magical properties of your drug-infused blood. I decided to go for the full experience and retextured myself to play as the Bloodlord himself:

There is an armor set there called the Living armor. It's the most advanced set of armor you can build and it not only offers full protection, but also learns and adapts with you to enhance your actions. It really got me thinking how much better League could do with regards to blood magic lore and the history of the blood cults that are occasionally mentioned in the lore. It also got me wondering whether Bloodlord Vladimir's armor is alive.
Vlad's legendary skin from 2011 is seen by a large part of the fanbase as a semi-canon/alternative future one where our boy has won the Noxian game of thrones and become the merciless ruler he's always wanted to be. He's acquired some seriously baddass armor in the process, which, upon closer inspection, appears to consist of flesh, bone and metal.

The red gem in the middle is pretty much a beating heart. Ingame, the cloak has veins which glow and pulse with your Q spell. It's obviously infused with blood magic. So my question is, how did such armor come to exist in Runeterra?

Is it a blood cult relic, passed along generations of blood mages?

Is it an item Vladimir crafted or enchanted himself (he also enchanted a
once so he may be cable)? -
In light of recent characters, is it of Darkin origin? The aesthetic may suggest it.

But, it doesn't seem to want to take over Vlad the way Rhaast constantly flames Kayn. It's a perfectly quiet and obedient set of armor.

Could it be a dead, lobotomised or otherwise re-purposed corpse of a Darkin? Did Vlad kill him?

Could it be a set of armor made from the corpse of an ancient Darkin, whose slayers became the founders of the blood magic tradition?
