Leona met "a golden-skinned boy with horns and bat-like wings wandering on the mountainside" in her youth. Leo also gets powered up after meeting him again on the mountain's peak. Was that boy actually a Celestial?
As for the pallid, eyeless strangers that came from Mount Targon. What are they? Are they naturally blind?

Marbelara2 votesThought of the same exact thing. The peak of Mt. Targon clearly connects to space and some otherworldly realms within. It could even connect to both Celestials and the Void at once.
Which would explain the waves of bad monsters and singular good monsters who cannot be the same species.
The stories of the Lunari hint the darklings have eaten through countless worlds before. It would be absolutely amazing if it was really the Void devouring various realms - and that the celestials, who were damaged by these calamities, are now warning the humans of the incoming swarm.
It could mean an entire separate war on a brand new, epic scale! And a sense of everyone being completely screwed on a brand new, epic scale!
Really, a Celestial - Void interaction is something I wanted to see forever. Be it a truce, be it a war, I'd gladly take it in any shape or form.

Marbelara1 votesWell, taking into account the Celestial's non-interfering, peaceful blue-orange morality, and the fact they are immortal, not-breeding-for-eons-if-at-all concepts made of shimmery energy, music and fruit, I'd reckon we don't have much hope.
If the Aspects are true Celestials/Celestial concepts who took on mortal vessels to fight, then it's about time! Aside from them it's, well... Um. Space-tier Mages?
This world got Warhammer 40k so quickly it's hilarious. Honestly, I can't wait to see everyone's reactions as they look up from their petty squabbles and realize just how badly they're gonna get their asses handed to them by the mighty swarm.
