The creatures on Mt Targon in Leona's expanded lore

Leona met "a golden-skinned boy with horns and bat-like wings wandering on the mountainside" in her youth. Leo also gets powered up after meeting him again on the mountain's peak. Was that boy actually a Celestial?

As for the pallid, eyeless strangers that came from Mount Targon. What are they? Are they naturally blind?

These creatures make me wonder if Mt.Targon has connections to the Void. Like there is a portal there that is constantly letting them in.

I guess he is a darkin. The power he gave Leona seems outright malicious(similar to how tryndamere seems to be downright infected by his rage) and his description sounds a lot like a small yellow aatrox.
