Is this real or is this fake?

I came across this and not being familiar with too many other mobas, I didn't know if It was real or from another game or from a fan creation. I created a champion called Rajineru (http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/a8rPfe25-champion-concept-rajineru-the-untamed-storm-att-4) in concepts and creations a while back and when i came across this I was a bit excited that they had finally done a similar idea, but before I get on my hype train I wanted make sure it's not from some famous hoax or something.

With a name so ridiculously unoriginal as Raijan and a title as ridiculously unoriginal as "The Thunder God" this is almost certainly fake. Not to mention there's a little bit of broken english in the bio there.

Likely completely fake.

I doubt this is real. First of all,its really rare for a lol champion to be a copy of an already existing mytholigical figure. I mean Wukong is pretty much the only one and even he has at least a slightly different name(since he isn't called Sun Wukong).

Then there is the fact that Riot said that they want every champion to have a unique theme and I think that lightning-specialist is kinda taken already by Kennen

Also I found an older thread about this leak,in which they also claim to have found the splash for a gravelord pantheon skin and I kinda doubt that panth is getting yet another skin,when he is actually a high priority on the VGU-list and if the skin is fake,then the champ is likely fake as well. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/UpQX6jn9-new-champion-rajin-thunder-god

This is fake. Riot announced in the "State of the Game" a few days ago that the next new champion after Camille would not come out anytime soon, and that the release schedule for new champs would be slowing down at the start of the year, but resuming pace after the mid-year. This splash you've found wouldn't even be created yet, as the splash is the final piece that's created after the model and kit have been established. This is just a fan-photoshop.

Meddler from the State of the game: "As for future champs: There’ll be a longer-than-usual gap between Camille and the next new champion. We’ll be more focused on other stuff early this year, then will get back to our past cadence for new champion releases."

Edit: The artist that made the image works for Riot (Jojo So), he made se Super Galaxy Fizz skin and some others more, but the picture that you shown is just a drawing that he made for Zeus, the god of thunder... Not a champion.

Well it's not on the pbe so i would say hoax at least currently. There has been a lightning fx added to the client though so it might be farther down the line like gnar.
