Not true. Wukong, nasus, Cassiopeia etc are very much mythological figure, but he doesn't look like a raisin as they carry drums on their backs in mythology, the name isn't probably a real name if anything, just a hint to his Lightning powers.
The thing is that they still have different names and backgrounds.
Nasus isn't called Anubis and he isn't the god who guides souls to the afterlife
Cassiopeia isn't called Medusa and while her lore has similarities with the tale of Medusa(being a beauty that was cursed into this form),it still is quite different.
However this guy on the picture is actually called Raijin and he even is a thundergod,just like the mythological raijin.
We have a ninja squirm lightning user. We have jayce. Just because he uses lightning I wouldn't say discredits this, I'm not saying Iran real, but I mean league already has made theme copies especially with ninjas.
Jayce barely uses lightning powers,there is a bit electricity in 1 or 2 of his attacks,but thats it.
And in general,it is ok to have multiple champs who use the same element,but its just that there is generally only one true specialist for every element(for example Yasuo does quite a lot of windstuff,but ~half of his abilities don't have anything to do with wind,because at his core,Yasuo is THE ronin of the game,wheras Janna is the wind master).
And its particularly because Kennen is one of the 4 ninjas that its important for him to have something else that makes him stand out on his own.
I mean Zed has his shadow clones and Shen has his spirit sword,both things that are unique to them.
Akali currently only stands out due to being a female ninja,a kunoichi,but that will likely change as well when she gets her VGU.
And Kennen stands out because he is the one lightning specialist of the game.
Again I'm not saying Thisbe is real, but him being on the list doesn't interfere with a skin launch. Also the skin and champion could be unrelated. But again this is why I'm asking cause it could be fake.
Its more about how this thread quotes a "source" that claims that Raijin AND the pantheon-skin are real.
However if the Pantheon skin is fake,then its appearant that this source is lying and thus Raijin would likely be fake as well.
Also another thing that hints at this being fake is the fact that Riot usually takes down leaks as fast as they can.
When the pictures of Lucian&Vel'koz came out,they removed them immediatly.
The fact that they didn't bother to delete any threads about Raijin means that riot doesn't need to take these down and thus the picture is most likely fake.
