The biggest question I ask myself about this teaser is why these 4 champions? They have no overlapping lore at all. In fact with the exception of Sona they are all from radically different parts of Runeterra. Vi is from Piltover, Garen is from DEMACIAAAA, Zed is from Ionia. If this was about some kind of Zed rival why not include Shen, Akali, or Kennen in the altered pictures? If the character has special relationships with others why not focus on a single location like just champions from Plitover?

My next question is what is with the differences on the animations? We have Butterflies for Sona, Fire for Vi, Rocks for Garen, and Rose petals for Zed. What do these have in common? Almost nothing...except that they kind of seem fitting for each character. Sona is gentle like a butterfly, Vi is fiery and aggressive, Garen is steady like a rock, and Zed is silent with a hint of danger like a rose with its thorns.

Now, the teasers are dark but if you listen you hear thunder in the beginning like a storm is approaching. When looking at the characters in the dark my first impression was that they were in agony of some sort but Sona's teaser...didn't quite feel like that to me. It almost looked like she was in ecstasy instead. Thinking along those line I thought to myself, well...just how much expression does Zed's face plate hold? It may look like something has struck Zed in his face plate but what if something is coming out? Like power?

This all leads me to believe that this teaser is about a new champion that doesn't have any ties to any nations like Kindred. A force of nature if you will. If you listen closely you hear thunder in the teasers and I think this leads even more credence to the champion being storm based. There has already been mention of a champion that fits this description. Ao S"J"hin, The Storm Dragon..

What is more is that I think he will be a support that amplifies what makes a champion unique, mainly, their abilities. Amplifying abilities would certainly be in tone with Riot's new trend of game breaking mechanics and what would be more game breaking then an ability that amps up allies abilities? There are so many ways they could do it that I'm scared to even consider the possibility. They could have him reset allies' last cast ability (not ult obviously) or perhaps some kind of reverse wall that amplifies abilities that pass through it, kind of like Jayce's acceleration gate, but for all allied skill shots and ranged AA?

Given, its far to early to tell that much about the teaser at this time, but I feel pretty confident about it being Ao S"J"hin, The Storm Dragon. The only thing that keeps me doubting it is "DeadEye". I can't figure out how that fits in yet.

I hint of Danger...? The Lightning does hint out something, but we can never be sure that it's Ao Shin. Besides, hes probably cancelled like Omen

How about the possibility that they are all extremes? Deadeye (or whatever his name ends up being) sees such extremes as either a challenge or a unbalancing of the natural order.

Garen is the epitome of loyalty, he is the literal posterchild for Demacia. Vi is extreme duality, total destruction under the pretenses of lawful order. Sona is extreme antithesis, a voiceless musician who wields a sound-based weapon of murder. Zed is uncontrolled power, willing to stop at nothing to become stronger and deadlier.

I believe a rioter has confirmed that this is not Ao Shin. I don't know if it true or not but it on the internet so it must be. (haven't seen it my self)

I always thought it's white doves the ones in Sona's portrait, instead of butterflies.

As per her League Judgement, having no voice is something that actually set Sona free from the control of someone or something. Probably the Judgement is no longer canon, but if they still follow that same line of story, losing her voice was actually a good thing for her.

Just going to point out it targets all of their weak areas: Sona being mute, Garens honor.. etc.

My theory is lost siblings! I don't know the lore well enough though to know if they all technically have siblings. I've heard Jinx is probably Vi's sister, but it's never been established.

So, yeah... we'll see!

If you look at the particle effects they look like the particle effects on aatrox's login screen (the one on his sword). What if he/she is a darkin and uses its darkin powers to place it targets in ecstasy. They all appear to be resting peacefully. Maybe it makes their deepest desires come true in their mind and it feeds off of them.

Late reply I know but my theory is that the champs are NOT connected but it symbolizes something else. The new champ's abilities. GarenGaren has armor. And in his teaser it's being broken hence one of the abilities has armor penetration. You guys know where this is going. SonaSona is mute. Therefore her throat being cut makes her "mute" and another one of the abilities will be a silence. ZedZed is shot through the eye in his teaser meaning one of the abilities is a blind. Finally Vi'sVi makes the enemy champion get lit on fire like ignitesummoner 14 . That's just my theory on it :D So most likely a support but I'm not sure about the Ao Shin (Jhin) part. They seem similar enough though so I'd say your theory is not that far off of the mark. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] And if this is true, I'm pretty sure the new champ will be hella op.
