Evelynn's Visual Gameplay Update Progess Status - 1 year since original post

So it's been over a year since I made this post here lonewingy was indicated as the rioter working on her VU. But since then, we have been getting the run around about her status, and now it seems till be another year - at least - before she may be touched. Frankly this is extremely frustrating since we haven't received any kind of legendary skin for her due to her rigs age.

So is there any update of where she is in the VGU process?

Evelynn - "Ugh,I have been waiting for years for this to end. This endless torture!"

Urgot - "I know,right?"

Evelynn - "Oh,uh,you shut up!"

Yorick - "Hey guys! Are you excited for me to get out of here?!"

Evelynn - "Fuck you."

Urgot - "Hey,I got some postcards from our old buddies. They seem to be doing great." *sigh* "I wish I had Taric's hair."

Evelynn - "That could have been my hair." *starts crying*

Galio - "Damn, Poppy sure has gotten good at baseball. She would look good in a baseball skin"

Evelynn - "That could have been ME getting good at baseball."

Warwick - "That's a pretty awesome legendary skin Sion has."

Evelynn - "THAT COULD HAVE BEEN ME WITH THE LEGENDARY SKIN."

Ryze - "What is she crying all about?"

Yorick - "She has been waiting for a VGU for a few years now & I think the waiting has broken her. She's acting like a baby."

Urgot - "You were crying like a bitch too,Yorick. From the moment you was released up until a few months ago, you were begging Riot to give you a VGU."

Evelynn - "Wait,the fu-?"

Yorick - "Hey,I wasn't crying when they updated my Pentaki-."

Evelynn - "SHUT UP!!! Ryze! What are doing here?"

Ryze - "Oh yeah,I'm here for my VGU. Like GP,some kit love,new model,lore & VO. I might even get out before you Rick."

Yorick - *sigh* "I'm use to it. My VGU is coming, that's all I wan-."

Evelynn - "WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!!! I was here BEFORE you, this is your SECOND rework & YOU'RE GOING TO CUT IN FRONT OF US!!!"

Ryze - "Well,you see,Riot has several teams working on separate prog-."

Evelynn - "That's it. THAT'S FUCKING IT!!! I'm done. I'm leaving to go join DOTA or something."

Warwick - "I'm not sure that's a good idea."

Evelynn - "I just wanted you all to know I hate you all." *walks out the room after flipping the bird at them*

Yeah, I feel the same way. Honestly, she always gets the short end of the stick. Her VU was supposed to be with the stealth rework back in 2012. Twitch received his, Eve is still awaiting.

A Rioter recently said that no VGU is in the works currently. There is a champion update schedule on Riot's website, you can take a look at it any time. If Evelynn was in the works, she'd be there.

Evelynn was recently mentioned by Meddler with a halfhearted remark about being a potential rework for 2017. As far as champion updates go, there appears to be another one tentatively in the works after Yorick and that Urgot is almost guaranteed for 2017. There has been speculation that Warwick is possibly the other 2016 rework.

Evelynn easily has to have one of the biggest potential as a character in the game, both thematically and mechanically. I hope they don't sit on that opportunity for too long because her gameplay and appearance have left players wanting for a long, long time.
