So... Miss Fortune doomed Bilgewater

At the end of Burning Tides, we see Bilgewater is embroiled in chaos. With Gangplank apparently gone, all the different gangs and crime lords are turning on one another. Miss Fortune seems to think that if she can get the heads of those who followed Gangplank, everything will magically be right again.

The problem with all this is that as ruthless, brutal and cruel as Gangplank might have been, he did something important: He kept Bilgewater united. And now that it's being consumed by in-fighting, Noxus will undoubtedly come in to take over. By removing Gangplank from the equation, Miss Fortune essentially opened the gate to Noxus.

Doomed is relative. Can you say that gangplank is better than noxus occupation? When the head of the government is taking out anarchy will most likely follow , what happened in bilge water as a result of the aftermath just shows how in the stable it was in the first place . Noxus May not be that terrible Bilge water Had a similar pattern of having power equaling status And noxus based on what we know so far has had more structure .

On the other hand if you're to bring up the shadow Liles which will be attacking again even stronger ( then last year ) in a month that might cause a bigger more immediate problem .

Either way bilge water need to savior

Honestly I think Bilgewater has bigger problems than noxus. Namely the shadow isles. They struggled already last year against the harrowing, but now they are in disarray,so its gonna be even harder for them.

I don't know why the Noxian High Command will be interested in some backwater slum like Bilgewater.

How would they benefit by invading it?

Even if he came back to power directly afterward he was a broke and almost dead man...Personally i hoped he would win, this event really ruined perhaps one of the most amazing champions in the game (Lore wise) PLEASE MAKE HIM KING OF THE PIRATES AGAIN!

In short: We most be careful when hunting monsters, less we become them.

Gangplank Was a fucker that is for sure. But MissFortune Really is just using the pretext of justice and stability to justify her vengeance towardsGangplank. Sad thing is that it's most likely would turn into the classic scenario of the "Freedom fighter becoming the Dictator" AKA He(or She) who fights monsters.

"You either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villian" bilgewater event in a nutshell. It just means the top king has been dethroned, and the underings are fighting for #1.

It'll probably be Nautilus.

I think that Bilgewater has more pressing matters, given the time of year.

The Black Mist approaches...
