Where is Malphite supposed to fit in LoL?

As in, where in the lore is a giant mountain man supposed to be? I'm assuming that they'll tie him to Runeterra instead of whatever planet/dimension he's from, but I thought he'd be from MT. Targon.

I can imagine him being worked in to primordial Runeterra as something that helped shape the planet'so early landscape. Perhaps there were once many beings like him in the world'should prehistory, but he is the only one remaining.

Either way I can see him being super ancient.

He is so big that he doesn't fit into anything...

Get it?

Its a joke

A part of me wants to say that he's a walking natural disaster that pops up every couple of centuries, usually long enough for people to forget he's real so no one actually knows how to stop him when he wakes up and moves.

This is someone whose very footsteps should case small earthquakes and has footprints that become lakes overtime.

probably he'll fit in mt targon, like an aspect missed the skillshot and hit the rock behind the person... lul

PLOT TWIST:

He's the son of Mt. Targon.

Well they did say that Targon itself might be alive, but I guess that if he were part of targon then they would have updated his lore along with the other targon lores. So maybe he'll be part of another mountain-region.
