Annie's Lore fails to fit Annie.

So, from what I gather, Annie lives in an outcast society of dark magicians in the woods, according to her current lore. The problem is that her base skin, her demeanor, and her character don't fit that mold at all. She's got a preppy schoolgirl's outfit on, with a backpack and a headband with cat ears, she skips around instead of walking, and her innocence seems disingenuine considering the reality in which she lives.

I feel like Riot has clung onto this pedophilic, lolicon character that just feels out of place in this game. The logic behind her design balances itself between, "Well, this character has always been this way," and, "OMG, Annie is so kawaii." It lacks narrative and depth. Given how they have changed even Lux, who was pretty much a prissy, spoiled cheerleader in the old lore, into a symbol of repressed talent and internal conflict, they could do so much better with Annie.
