I don't know if people will agree with me when I say this, but I love the Sewn Chaos concept, and I think it would be a huge shame if this skin line were to disappear.
Which begs the question, if we knew the quality that Riot was after and met said quality for these skins, would we still be interested in the skins overall?

Sexy Jack Rabbit13 votesI feel like the issue was that these skins did not feel 'Sewn Chaos' they had this really weird teddy bear motif, and it felt like they were trying to appeal to Annie's lore, more so then the skin-line created alongside Orianna's release. I don't think the champion selection was necessarily wrong, I just think the Skins team vision was a little bit clouded because there isn't really much to work off of. Orianna's skin is very old, and very out-dated. It doesn't give riot much room to say "This is what people like about this skin". It's more of a situation of "People like this Orianna skin on Orianna."
That being said I'm not sure it was entirely necessary to scrap the skins, I just think they could have gone through some serious re-texturing. Add in little patches and more notable seams. That way they could have met that patchy, gritty, worn and torn creepy look that Orianna's has.

Jakra1 votesSewn Chaos worked on Orianna because she's clearly not human, but has that human shape. So making her into a messy and creepy looking doll made perfect sense. She's not fooling anyone with her appearance in terms of being human, but still has that "empty shell" description of where she might've been a human once. I like that, which is why I don't really like the Winter Wonderland skin or that Heartseeker skin, where it loses that description.
More so, you don't get anything like that description with Blitzcrank or Amumu, where that humanoid shape is just simply not there. I do really like those skins, but I don't think it should've been called "Sewn Chaos", maybe something like "Sewn Awakening".
The splash art gave me less "Chaos" and more "Awoke" because it doesn't look like those two are there to cause chaos, but more like trying to live, or about to come to life from being encased in a toy box. But that's stretching it, and I don't think it covers the quality issues which made the skins canceled.
Personally, I love the idea of Sewn Chaos becoming a full fledged skin line, so here's hoping they really do make an effort in making it a fully realised series!

Then rename the skins if the issue is the name! >.< Like Stuffed Amumu and Stuffed Blitzcrank. But if these two skins really aren't being released simply because they differ too much from the theme of Sewn Chaos then that is ridiculous. This would be akin to not releasing the Super Galaxy Kindred and Shyvana skins from last year because they looked more Neon Strike than Super Galaxy.
Oleandervine9 votesThe quality felt lacking, but that's because Amumu and Blitz had base skin particles that make the plushie doll skins awkward. Increasing the quality from 750 to 1350 and giving them full particle overhauls would fix any awkwardness these skins had.

Amumu had his Q and E given new VFX and Blitz had his Q given a new VFX. Both instances of these VFX changes were fairly low quality (Amumu only getting just strips of color for his bandage and his tantrums) and could have used a lot more work. Additionally, Amumu's ultimate, his W, and Blitzcrank's ultimate didn't have new VFX. Using the base skin VFX for the two ultimates (Amumu's W is passable as is) makes the skins awkward - why is a small doll creating Egyptian-style runes in a ring around him, and why is a doll creating electrical surges and storms? It made little sense, and this is why they needed more extensive VFX work done, and possibly being upgraded into 1350 skins instead of remaining at 750. What these skins need in terms of VFX to make sense is fully reworked VFX across all abilities so that everything fits the theme - often times, champs that have very thematic VFX for their base skin don't have those VFX translate very well if a dramatic skin theme is applied and keeps those base skin VFX.

Sharjo2 votesThe fact that new Sewn Chaos skins were even considers speak to what could be Riot believing it's a worthwhile skin line to pursue, though I'd imagine they wanna look at that skin line hard before trying again.
While I personally don't have much interest in the Sewn Chaos theme, threads commenting on the skin's cancellation have had plenty of people coming in saying that they really like Orianna's skin, and so I feel like there's potentially a decent demand. It was really the individual skins here, not the theme itself. I'd encourage Riot to try again with this skin line in the future.

I don't even think Amu & Blitz were bad choices, just not the best choices and were not executed that well. Their models on SR really just didn't look very "sewn chaos", just kinda chaotic and messy.

Cpt Aggressive1 votesI think what made the sewn chaos skin so successful on orianna is that she is an inanimate creation brought to life It was never cute it felt creepy,evil and twisted. I feel champions such as Syndra, amumu, Annie, Mundo, hecarim, eve, malzehar, kassadin, kallista, reksai, Elise, morgana, velkoz, varus. Champions who lend them selves towards dark and twisted. I've even felt a bit inspired and drawn my own twisted sewn chaos syndra.
Vier1 votesThe colours were really weird. I really think they should look similar to base skins except stitched up. Amumu was a good choice but Blitz was a terrible one in my opinion.
A problem the Amumu skin had was that it was "readable" as Teemo.
These champions were not the best choice, they do not really fit the theme in my opinion. Something like Sewn Chaos Kalista where she is holding a needle and is attached to her passive partner with thread would be cool imo.
They just need to pick better champions, Blitzcrank with those feet and electricity particles looked nothing like a "Sewn Chaos" and they really need to add particles to give that feeling of thread, cotton, wool, etc. on every ability.
