Riot, we need another female Yordle

There are 9 male yordles, but only 3 female yordles. (Poppy, Tristana, Lulu) (Rumble, Teemo, Amumu, Ziggs, Gnar, Corki, Kennen, Heimerdinger, Veigar)

This is just a thought, but how about a subspecies of Yordle that resides in the Freljord? A "Snow Yordle" and she could look a bit like a poro?

Edit: You guys are misunderstanding. Ascended, phoenixes, nine-tailed foxes, guardians, gods, are not unique to League of Legends. They can be found in a number of other games. Yordles, on the other hand, are exclusive to League of Legends. This isn't to make the game PC. I couldn't care less about the game being PC or not. This is more to give more lore to the yordles. What intelligent species do we have in League? Humans, Voidborn monsters (which have a nice amount of lore), spirits/not-living-or-dead-things (again, a good amount of lore), and yordles. Each of the races I've mentioned, aside from yordles has a sense of species. Black and White for humans, Xer'sai and other forms of voidborn monsters, spirits of death (kindred), spirits of life (Bard), and spirits inbetween (Mordekaiser, Karthus, etC) but for Yordles, we only have furry males and purple females, and those are just the gender differences.

isn't lulu evil? I mean she doesn't act out purposely to be evil like Veigar. But she is "evil" in the sense she causes bad things to happen entirely of her own will. She sees the world differently but she is definitely not a good character. She turns people/children into animals AND LEAVES THEM THAT WAY. They have no survival skills, hell she turns someone into a squirrel they either starve to death or get eaten within a couple days.

She didn't turn children to animals permanently, she was playing with them and after game they became normal again. She did that because she can't see like others and turning children to animals is not something wrong for her.

The thing with lulu is pretty much insane. She falls more into the blue&orange morality,which would probably make her chaotic neutral by human standards.

She doesn't really want to harm anyone,while evil characters usually know that they harm someone(even if they don't see it as evil),she can be good or bad for you depending on her whims.

There was nothing in that lore to suggest that Amumu is no longer a Yordle. Yes the man telling the story refers to him a child, but unless you're trying to say that Yordles can't have children then that doesn't mean anything. (well maybe if Yordle kids had some other name like pup or cub, but we have been given no reasons to believe that) Heck one of the kids even says that he is a Yordle, and although that doesn't prove anything, it does suggest that there are Yordles in Shurima.

But anyway, Riot is clearly trying to play both sides to keep the fan base guessing, so until they openly state something (which I highly doubt they will) then this debate will continue.

Personally, I'd like to see a yordle from Noxus. It would be something quite interesting to see considering the yordles nature and how Noxus is portrayed to be evil and stuff. I desperately want more lore linked to Bandle City.

From what I know Noxians only care about strength, I'd assume that if there was a strong Yordle they would be respected just like anyone else.

Its kinda a grey area now due to retcon, but basically, noxus is at war within itself between two factions, possibly three.

One of them values strength above all, one of them is rather racist.

We dont really know much about any of that anymore, especially with the retcon tho

Not really. We don't know where he's from, only that he's right now in the jungles, which makes it highly unlikely he's ever been to the Freljord considering things like geography.

Then how does he get to the jungle when he's a four year old yordle and the jungle is likely hundreds of miles away? Why are their vines and ferns in the cave where his promo was placed, considering those plants were there upon his release from the true ice prison?

No the likelihood is that Gnar came in contact with the Frozen Watcher looking sod when the Watcher's reign over Valoran was taking place, so they were in the south and effectively came to him.

I refuse to believe a four year old yordle makes the hundreds...no scratch it'd be more likely to be thousands of miles to get from the Freljord to the jungles where Rengar lives. I just don't see it.

Well the blue shopkeeper from the aram map mentions that the watchers and freljordans once ruled over the whole land,so its not impossible that in ancient times the watchers also lived in different places(also his teaser page shows a cave with some plants in it,so I really doubt that it is located in the freljord)

Its like hidden in the old boards, but a Rioter confirmed that the "True Ice" Gnar was frozen in was by Anivia , I'm not exactly sure how she did it, but roughly a million years went by so I guess it makes sense that a mountain formed around gnar, apparently her reason for doing this was "He was needed to stop the watchers" or something along that line.

Wow, people are taking such a tiny thing so seriously. Asking for a new female champion isn't some attack on masculinity or whatever some of these people are trying to make it out to be. Yordles are a tiny, unique race to LoL. The OP is just asking for an expansion of this race in order to enrich their lore and our knowledge of them. We already have a variety of male yordles, so it would be nice to see more of the same in female yordles. Like, it's more of a, "If we're going to make a new yordle, why not make it a female of a different 'yordle' race since it's never been done before and would expand and enrich our knowledge of the yordle race as a whole?" as opposed to "OMG! WE NEED MORE FEMALES NOW BECAUSE THERE NEEDS TO BE JUST AS MANY FEMALES AS MALES AND WHAAAH WHAAAH WHAAH!" For some reason, a few of you seem to think it's the latter instead of the former. I don't see why you guys are jumping down the OP's throat over a small, innocent suggestion. We have many male yordles of many different appearances and, in the case of Gnar, even a different subspecies. All the female yordles more or less look alike, as if they could be related. It would be nice that, if a new yordle was introduced, it showed some of the variety (if any) that is present in female yordles. It's not for the sake of feminism or inclusion or whatever; it's for the sake of learning more about the yordle race and adding something new to the game. No one is saying there shouldn't be male phoenixes or any of the other things some of you listed; there's no reason to act as if a request for a female yordle is a demand that new male champions shouldn't be made. So, just chill out about it.

Personally, yordles are my favorite race in LoL, and I would love to see more variety in them. This includes different subspecies of yordles and more female yordles, since most existing yordles are male and seemingly of a similar subspecies (except Gnar). Suggesting a female yordle is doing nothing more than asking for a variety that doesn't currently exist in the race. It's not some kind of attack against any other race or gender combination. There's literally no reason to be offended or insulted or defensive over this suggestion.

The nine-tailed Fox by lore was meant to be attractive so that she could woo males in. A male fox would not fit the lore in LoL or in real life. A tanuki on the other hand...

They're specifically described as Ascended, right there.

Not to mention the line from the Shurima site by Nasus himself, describing why he and Renekton ascended in the first place:

"THE SUN DISC WAS ANCIENT EVEN THEN. WE KNEW OF ITS POWER, MY BROTHER AND I, AND SHURIMA FACED A DIRE THREAT, FROM MYSTERIOUS BEINGS UNLIKE ANY WE HAD EVER KNOWN."

The Ascended are all described as demigods, but they were all human at one point, and with the Shurima lore this applies to Nasus and Renekton too.

If we want to get pedantic, Nasus and Ren are the only actual ascended beings (that we know of). Xerath and Azir are something else created from a corrupted ascension ritual. They were certainly made more powerful but they are not the same as Ren and Nasus.

No, Azir is same with Renekton and Nasus. Azir didn't chance anything about his ascension. Only changed ascension is Xerath's.

But looks like Azir is more powerful than Renekton and Nasus (not combined).

The thing is that most of these have only one champ. Its kinda clear that they can't be represented by every gender if they have only one member of their species(and in the case of the ascended it is because they are based on male egypt gods,its likely that we'll eventually get one who is based on Basthet)

Wanting to represent every race gender etc. is nice and all, but I think it is much more important to focus on Gameplay.

The thing is these champions represent their race through gameplay, so introducing a new Troll would be kinda uselsess as it would be a Trundle 0.1 for example. Same thing about race gender etc. there is no reason to force a new champion into the game just to satisfy some questionable personalities. When you have a kit that fits a freljord yordle girl make it happen, but don't ever force it to happen.

I agree with you on that,just making a champ because you want to fill some quote shouldn't be done.

However in the case of Yordles I think that it rarely really matters if they make them male or female though and a more gender equal ratio would be appreciated(especially since yordle anatomy is still something that we do not have that much info on). And since yordles aren't in the game just to be yordles(like trundle,volibear,etc.who are like you said really just in the game so that we have someone of their race) there isn't much problem in adding more of them.

I don't consider him a mage, although some might. I rarely see him built as a mage, and even when he is built AP, he's an assassin imo.

I'm thinking more of an immobile mid-laner (who isn't seen frequently played as a tank. . .) instead of a mobile, bursty, and somewhat safe champion.

A new female Yordle? I'm definitely in approval of that since we haven't seen a new female Yordle since Lulu and it would be nice to see how they vary in appearance much like the male Yordles.

However, I do want to see the other Yordles in the game already to be updated. Corki still needs a Heimer-make over to make him a true Yordle while Kennen , Teemo , Veigar , Rumble still need model updates. Some touch ups on Lulu 's model would be a nice touch too. Riot did a great job on Poppy, and I'd love to see the other Yordles be given a new "splash of paint" upon their appearances.

Nunu is from a strange race of short creatures called "Kids"... they usually are born when 2 humans from different genders mate.

Annie is from that same race as well.

Some myths say that when someone from the "Kid race" grows up, they become Humans.
