Is there a possibility for the lore team to work on lore for skins, too?

I would hate being left in the dark about the chain of events in the Omega Squad skin line that led to their death. Who were they fighting? Why were they fighting? Where did the fight take place? How did they die, exactly?

We prefer to leave the details of skins themes up to player's interpretations. For example the Academy comics are fan-written. I didn't even know about them until they were published. We really love the various ways fans interpret themes like Star Guardian and wouldn't want to be too heavy handed. For example I love the animation that shows Arcade Sona taking FB Veigar's ult and transforming into DJ Sona, or that great piece of Dark Star Varus accusing SG Janna of leaving him behind.

Thermal Kitten is indeed a writer who has joined skins, but skin's Thematic Dev are more focused on world building and thematic consistency than writing player-facing stories. Our hope is that skin themes will be more like Omega Squad and Pulsefire, where there is a story to be uncovered but the details are still up to you.

Here's a head scratcher; before school SG Jinx likes to watch Super Galaxy Force, but SG Rumble's favourite tv show is Star Guardians.

Well the real answer is obviously that it all takes place inside an autistic little boy's snowglobe.

Sounds like 4 Gregs from Homestar Runner.

So, rather than do the work of coming up with stories for these themed skins... you guys leave them in the hands (and fingers) of fan fiction writers...

Alrighty then! Leg-kissing Ezreal is now official canon, boys!

My headcanon: both live in the same world, and both happen to have a tv series based off them. Much like Kamala Khan writes fan fiction about other marvel superheroes :)

Honestly I'd rather have them focus on the main lore.

Hey I see your name on the lore discussions a bunch, so I'd like to ask: what "canonical" lore-skin would you be most excited about? I've started drawing skin concepts and posting on reddit, am considering doing some lore-related ones in the future. :)

Well it was said that the people from different nations would see TahmKench differently. The design that we see ingame is actually just his Bilgewater appearance, cause he is most often seen there.

So I'd really like to see how the people of Shurima,Demacia,Noxus, the Freljord or Ionia would see him.

The narrative behind skin lines is being worked on, more so nowadays since one of narratives own joined the skins team to help figure that stuff out.

Pre-transformation skins for champions that underwent some kind of radical biological change in their lives, like the undead and Ascended champions.

Any champion in particular?

Well, we kind of have lore or at least story for the Academy skins. But it would be awesome to see more of the world behind the Project skins.

I guess my dream is to see one big, complex integrated diagram showing all the skins somehow related to each other, with each Champion having multiple roles within this big, united mega-verse. Like Arcade takes place in a video game played by someone in Academy, which is a school in the same world as Pool Party, a world protected by the Star Guardians, who occasionally need to work with the Project soldiers and Omega Squad to combat etc. etc. etc.

I'd certainly love it if the Academy comics team were to do some Star Guardian comics. Or should we commission a manga artist for that?
