Championship Riven is coming back

But riot doesn't know how and they need our ideas!

Somehow I don't think a player icon for original buyers is going to be enough. I dunno if a ward skin would work either. A mystery box (or 3) for owners might work, but I don't think riot wants to set that kind of precedent. A rune page might be an interesting thing if riot wants to give the original owners something. A free chroma pack for the original owners might work, while others would have to buy it separately. I like the chroma pack idea the best.

One cool option is maybe riot could give the some scaling reward based on how much the re-release sells. That way there's incentive for current owners to want it to be sold. For example if it hits a high sales mark, riot will garuntee a legendary riven skin gets made and original owners are the ones who can vote on which option is done.

Or maybe riot could just give an honest apology. The championship skins turned into a line of things riot sells once a year; it didn't stay a limited edition thing as originally intended. It'd be different if they didn't make more skins or made those as LE, but they didn't. I mean look at WotC's reserve list. That burnt another company big time because at the end of the day, it was an anti-consumer, short-sighted, knee jerk reaction. Champsionship Riven also has an issue of being one of riven's better skin options.
