@Riot animatiors: Fiora

I feel Fiora has, even though she is not that old, quite lackluster animation work done on her. She has 2 spells with no animation and only particles, a single idle animation and a single run animation that looks weird at high MS. With her W, riposte she is supposed to use her parry dagger she has on her back but instead it's this weird white particle that doesn't fit at all, she is not a mage. You did a great job on Yasuo with his animations, his sheathing is very fluid and run animations are smooth. I think Fiora could use animations like that too. Currently there is nothing graceful and elegant about her movement but stiff instead. I read your champion rework dev blog and how you keep champion priority list when it comes to art, model, animation etc. I think Fiora should definitely be on the list for animation updates.

The problem with animating her parry is that she can parry anything from any angle,while attacking at the same time. Imagine her attacking someone but then parrying something from behind,how would that look like if she had some animation?It would need a more complex animation for these kind of situations to not look silly(as in her doing a parrying animation as if she blocks something from the front,when something from behind gets her).

She is getting a full rework some time in the near future so I assume they will be updating art and animations as well :D

Good points by everyone. Really excited for the rework.

Don't worry about it OP, they're tearing Fiora apart right now. She's going to be completely different once she comes back from her rework, and they'll clean up her animations then. What I really want to see is Fio's daddy as a champ, or even one of her siblings.

She's lacking grace and elegance. She certainly has perfect form down though, it's so textbook it's stiff and boring. A fencer of her caliber would most certainly have a personal twist to all her actions. Yasuo is fantastic. Fiora is lacking.
