They're definitely making a 2D fighting game. Riot acquired the team that made Rising Thunder.

Hopefully the result is a game that's better than Rising Thunder though that game is ass.

I kinda doubt it, but it really would be pretty cool. And not only because of lore, but also because they'd have to revolutionize the genre with a refereshing and much more modern take on the MMORPG. (I'm not sure how such a thing would be done, though, at the moment.)

I mean, I'm certain that Riot's designers are aware of the problems of the MMORPG genre and how not many of its games, nowadays, offer different things. ;P

It would be awesome. And yeah if Riot came out with one it would crush so many other games.

But we shall see I truly hope they do, to be honest it would foolish of them not to do so it would take the game to new heights!

And the story line would be amazing!
