I really really want to see a watcher get released.

Either in game as a champion or even in the next void related story/hopefully event. I want to see what will happen, what the Celestials/Aspects/Lissandra will do and their reactions.

They are literally the biggest bad in the league lore currently and riot has been tickling my nose with it for so long. Is it possible we will ever truly see a watcher? and if so will it be from the Icathia rip getting bigger? or will it be from breaking free from the ice in the abyss? or possibly something entirely different? I really wanna see it happen.

I think that theres so much threat and danger in runeterra im glad the watchers have been put on ice! (no pun intended) Will we someday get to see a watcher in action? yes for sure. Will we see the watcher escaping? probably not BUT we will without a doubt see the watchers more clearly when they tell us the story of when lissandra imprisoned them and the cataclysm that happened with it. Id like to see what Lissandra would do if they were to escape, no doubt she has a plan, but is it foolproof? idk

A Watcher in the game is an odd thing story wise. Game wise they can do what they want but in story journeying to 'the real universe' basically maimed them. Do they even have any power there? Could they 'remain' there? Interesting to see their power scale of course. Sure they are powerful but where on a scale of beings that create stars, Death and a guy who throws cards well?

Of course it'll also probably be really disappointingly designed. :-P

In the old lore the Frozen Watchers would have been feasible and cool

In the new lore the Watchers (no longer Frozen it seems), aren't even tangential or corporeal. They have no form. So it would be a pretty abstract champion release
