Shyvana's original lore had her as the daughter of a celestial dragon and a human, however it was rewritten because Rioters felt that Shyvana being the daughter of an all powerful celestial dragon was too much.

Fast-forward several years and we have Aurelion Sol enter League. So now we have a 100% pure celestial dragon, of which Shyvana's original lore was changed because she was 50% celestial dragon.

So I have two questions.

Question one. What made you guys feel it was now okay to have a celestial dragon in League and its lore?

Question two. Now that there is a full blood celestial dragon in the game, is there any thoughts in regards to Shyvana's lore?

Well Aurelion was definetly not planned when they released shyvana,so I doubt that the celestial dragons mentioned in shyvanas lore are the same thing as aurelion sol.

However I guess the lore change was done because Shyvana had pretty much nothing celestial about her. You would expect the descendant of a celestial being to be granted holy or space themed powers(depending on what kind of celestial stuff we are talking about),yet shyvana has pretty much just standard dragon-fire.

Apparently no one on Riot's lore team cares to answer anything about Shyvana's lore?

This kinda makes me sad T~T
