I'm quite impressed at the amount of dislike for Zoe's character

I haven't seen a new character's lore get this much hate flown at them since Rumble came out.

PERSONALLY, I quite like Zoe. She's got a decent backstory, a few nice hints about her feelings about other Targon champions (not talking about in-game interactions). Also, she's hilarious. She plays a darkly whimsical comedic angle to her lore, mostly symbolized by her not caring about anything and being lazy and laid-back. While they aren't admirable qualities, they are funny in fiction.

The hate is probably a mixture of her petulance, childishness, pettiness, lack of empathy, lack of relatable characteristics, and Targon (just... Targon).

People are too square, that's what I reckon. Unconventional does not make something inherently bad or unlikable. The people who are stuck up over that are the unlikable ones in my books.

People hated Rumble's original lore? I didn't know that.

I have to agree with you, although i think a lot of it comes from people (like me) who already hate the new Targon stuff.

Rumble's a racist idiot and a creepy stalker, of course people disliked his lore.

I dunno, it might just be that Rumble was there already by the time I started and I had gotten used to his lore, but I liked it. Sure he's a racist, but the dude's judgment had Heimerdinger and his mech fight, even though it was the mech Rumble wanted Tristy to be, and when he was on the floor, he got up and tried to fight him without the mech. Also, I don't think his lore implied him stalking anybody, other then a letter from a fan asking if he had a crush on Tristana and naming his mech that.

Eh, it's opinions i guess.
