Is Galio powered by a World Rune?

As much as there doesn't really need to be a reason to tie Ryze's quest to every faction, Galio's relaunch makes me question just what the standard of power was back in his creation.

So we have world runes, the magical WMD's of Runeterra that can wipe out entire countries in an instant. They are so powerful that Ryze's mission is to find and seal away every one of them to prevent total annihilation of the world. But he hasn't found all of them yet, and what if he can't actually access some? Since Galio is made of an antimagic material, it might be impossible for Ryze to remove it without waking him. Hell he probably wakes Galio up by being nearby.

Then there's the fact that there's only one Galio. Now this could be because the creator died with all his plans ruined, but it could also be because Demacia only had one Rune to use and thus couldn't mass produce a smaller version that could be used as soldiers. Instead making one giant guardian.

Now the downside to this is that Galio only activates around magic, and when he's awake he's most likely going to be fighting. So in order to avoid Galio accidentally targeting Demacia, magic is probably banned (with Lux's abilities being suspicious. She did correct herself to saying "metaphorically" when telling J4 that she wielded the light).

If I am right, then Demacia is probably a whole lot weaker than it used to be as it's not progressing quickly through warefare technology. It's held back by its traditions like how Noxus is held back by their aristocracy (which they are slowly removing).

Off topic: something tells me the world got a lot weaker after Mordekaiser's fall. Everyone got a bit more complacent without the Iron Revenant to keep them on edge. That and Ryze's hoarding of World Runes prevented new ways to utilize the power, which no doubt prevented a lot of wars from happening and a lot of strong warriors from being made through the fires of combat.

Valoran needs more wolves to hasten the age of lambs.

I would say no because if Galio was powered by a World Rune, he probably would never hibernate since there'd always be a source of magic nearby.

Potentially Ryze views Galio as a potential solution; an entity to rely on in the event of World Rune miss use. Ryze might see Demacia's super weapon as a good thing. Hell, Ryze may have advised Durand on what what would need to be done to create Galio to begin with.

Honestly the world probably got a lot weaker because of the Rune Wars. The magical devestation wrought probably sundered all of Valoran's major factions and dried the land of magic.

If Galio were powered by a World Rune I don't think he would need magic to stay awake.

I'm just thinking to myself "what beats Galio?" Sion would be the equivalent of Noxus but he doesn't look nearly as big. At his side Malphite looks like a bunch of pebbles duct taped together.

And he's made of magic stone. I think if there is a rune it is well safe within him.

Anyways, I must suffer from old age or simply not being hip enought, but I don't relate size to coolness at all -_-

I'm still wondering what happened with the world rune in Icathia, where the "incident" with Ryze's Master happened, and how this might have affected Jax and Malzahar. But I guess this will have to wait until there's a Void Event or a Jax or Malz update ._.
