And in my personal opinion the splash arts look like there wasn't much effort was put into them... especially yellow jacket.
Fiora kinda skips around now, but overall looks way better, even tho she wasn't that bad to begin with. SHEN on the other hand currently waddles around with his hands behind his back and odd lights and textures. He is lovable, but isn't exactly a work of art.
You are not alone. We all agreed for Fiora. We'll be a lot to agree for Shen.

I don't think riot knows how people walk. Have you seen Shen walk? He walks like a toddler.
Shen currently has balloon animal arms, his right hip is broken, and his left shoulder has got to be sore from holding is arm like that all day. New Shen actually walks like he's trying to hide will going to his destination. The old splash arts are riddled with problems, between shitty anatomy and murky painting (looking at you Surgeon Shen).
Old Fiora had a broken back in nearly all of her splash arts and that walking cycle? Can you walk while holding your back at a 45 degree angle ALL THE TIME? Irelia suffers from this too, and you can see it worst on Frostbutte Irelia. Her back is literally bent forward 24/7. New Fiora actually has particle effects and requires half a brain to play, which I feel is an improvement on old Fiora. Old Fiora was Sexy Lady #3487, New Fiora actually has some visual depth of character. Old Shen was a walking balloon amalgamation, New Shen has depth.
And if nothing else, let it be known that right after Shen on the ChampUp list was Taric. Shen's done. Taric is incoming boiiiiis
