Oversight or removal of Ezreal from the turf?

Ezreal is Piltovian. Including him in the Shurima lore update because of his gauntlet would be like including Sion in a Demacia lore update because his jaw is Jarvan I's crown.

Most likely has to do with how they do things internally.

An important event of Ezreal's story happened in Shurima, yes, but he is from Piltover. Narrative has been favoring exploring characters by faction for a while, so it makes sense that they bundle Ezreal in the Piltover group, where they can explore his relation to his compatriots, rather than on Shurima, when they can only focus on a more limited part of his identity.

He does, but he got his main weapon - an Ascended Talisman - from a tomb in Shurima.

Plus they updated his "lore" as part of the Shurima Event last time.

In fact, of those champions updated during the Shurima Event, only Ezreal and Cassiopeia aren't making an appearance here. You could argue Cass got some lore attention in the video segment last time, but Ezreal didn't even get that.

Elise, Evelynn and Yorick were in the same boat last Harrowing. I guess it's because the history of these folks isn't nearly as tied to the place where they got their powers, with the exception of Yorick, because they likely didn't touch him because they were reworking him, as they still are.

Because Ezreal is just a tomb raider that took something from Shurima. Like Cassiopeia, hence why she doesn't show up as well.

he is from piltover so thats were he is connected. i mean olaf is freljord but he goes raiding everywere he pleases doesnt mean he is connected

From the looks of it I think it is likely that they'll make a site like that for every region eventually,which is likely the first step of them to make the lore more accessible(because you could simply look at the site of the respective city state to find all the lores connecting to it,maybe they'll even make an interactive map once they made something like this for all the city states).

Ezreal will likely be accessible on the piltover site,because even though he got his gauntlet in shurima,he is still a piltovian. Likewise Cassio will likely be on the noxus-site and Malzahar&Rek'Sai on the void-site.
