“Lamb, tell me a story”

So there is a lot of speculation going on about the new trailer that Riot has released about the Wolf and Lamb, which can be seen here:

And many people are wondering is this new champ going to be a support, jungle, or something else? Lambs have come to symbolize life, innocence, and gentleness. Wolves on the other hand can symbolize many different things, such as free will, loyalty, and power. However, due the pairing with the lamb, I believe that the wolf symbolizes darker aspects such as treachery, greed, and destructiveness. And while this would potentially make for an interesting transformation champion, there is one thing not being considered:

I am proposing that Soraka is the lamb. Think of it. What other champion is close to representing the innocence and life that Soraka does? In every iteration of her lore, she was a kind and sweet person until she went against her very nature and intentionally caused another being pain. For this transgression, she has suffered dearly. She is already the very essence of all the lamb symbolizes.

Further (but not a serious) evidence is that Soraka is commonly called “the Goat”. As most of us know, goats and sheep are closely related and often are raised together.

Another possibility of the Lamb is Bard, but Bard is more about balance than life.

So if Soraka is the lamb, then who is the wolf?

If you don't know who I'm going to say, please wear a helmet at all times for your own safety.

Not only is Warwick a werewolf, but he and Soraka have been related in every version of their lore. In fact, in his earliest version of his lore, he was referred to as “the Deathmaker”. Furthermore, he does a rather decent job of representing some of the wolf's aspects, that is an uncontrollable and reckless force of nature.

That is why I am hypothesizing that the Wolf and Lamb are not new champions, but rather a rework of Soraka and Warwick. The evidence:

Soraka embodies what the Lamb symbolizes, and Warwick the Wolf. Soraka and Warwick have been part of each other's lore in every iteration. Soraka is commonly called a goat (closely related to sheep) and Warwick is a werewolf. Rioters have said at some point that they were in need of reworks. The Harrowing is coming up and this potentially puts them in a more Shadow Isles theme.

TLDR: I believe that Soraka and Warwick are getting reworked/VO/VU/Lore Update.

Edit: I admit defeat.

Nice, well thought out, but Soraka just got reworked this year. Sorry brah. Not happening.

It'd be interesting though, if the trailer was Soraka and Warwick, and "they" that are coming are something entirely different.

This was specifically stated to be a new champion, and also officially stated is that poppy is the next rework to be coming out so yeah impossible.

Add to the fact that the wolf actually sounds quite innocent where as the lamb sounds oh so manipulative meaning its likely a twist on the original story in which the lamb is the evil one and tricks the innocent wolf into doing what she needs done since she lacks the strength.

good theory but we already know it wont be a support or a assassin so i imagine itll be a mage

This sounds like more you wishing it happens than actually thinking it will. They already said they are planning on reworking WW in the future and Raka already has been reworked. It is even stated on their main page that it is a new champion.

By all means its alright to make theories but when they downright said it was going to be a new champion it is foolish to say its a rework.

It was already long confirmed that these teasers are for a new champ and since the new champ seems to be all about a literally split personality I doubt that they'll be seperate champions.
