Misunderstood, uses an evil power for good, etc. Kinda gives off a bit of a Cecil vibe from FF4.
Does he fill up the Dark Knight trope? If so, dang. I was hoping to have a Demacian Dark Knight as a future Champion.

It doesn't mean there can't be similar characters like that. I mean Varus uses also a dark power and is rather ambigious about how good/evil he is.Yes he wants revenge for revenges sake,but you can't really blame him on that and we aren't sure how far he is willing to go.

NULL AND VOID (by which I mean it doesn't come across in-game). If I recall he is on the VU list, though.
In the meantime just buy Dreadknight Garen.

Sharjo1 votesDude he's getting a VU soon, as in REAL soon. Sadly seems like it won't have an updated VO though, but model and textures are sure to be updated, and there'll likely be some animation work done as well.

Basically if they did full champion updates all the time they'd never get anything done, so they're giving Kassadin something that'll improve him now and they can come back to it later. As opposed to waiting potentially years for a Kassadin VU, they can improve some parts of him visually and add more to it in the coming weeks/months.
Narasimha1 votesNormally, I'd agree, but not really in this case. I mean, Void power isn't 'evil'. Its just power. Is electricity good or evil? All that matters is the person using it.
GreenLore3 votesWell while void powers are just powers,its not like the void itself isn't evil(ok it probably lacks any form of morality,but it is evil from our standpoint as they are trying to devour us all).
I mean the void is a place full of monsters that would probably devour everyone in runeterra if given the chance to do so and the mere atmosphere of the void would consume someone(kassadin merely managed to survive this with his mind still intact,even though it is said that a part of him died that day)
So it is understandable that Kassadin would be seen as just another void abomination by outsiders.
