If I am remembering correctly, I think a Rioter said that Lamb and Wolf dislike the undead, so maybe that is why Wolf is following Amumu. This is a really interesting find. Thanks for sharing it!

LANWhale3 votesWhile I agree that Ammumu's past is beyond vague, its in like another realm at his point on how vague it is, I find that the general lack of his background is actually a big factor into why I care about Ammumu so much. While I feel that his background should be kept rather vague things like 'Is he a yordle or not' should probably be answered.

a bit off topic but i could have sworn his splash had a mother, child, and dad he was making in his hands. when did they take it out and why? was it too depressing or something?
it depicted human parents aswell, however it could have just been amus interpretation of what his parents might have looked like.

Its a splash art from China, chinese dont actually put much attention to the lore and they add things that arent canon.

Greyord says that he is a yordle, which means that there are yordles at Freljord as well (maybe Gnar was one of them)
Yordles in other places aside from Bandle and Piltover is something that has been mentioned in the lore, for example, there are yordles living at Noxus and Poppy is the yordle Ambassador of Demacia, so its not weird to think that there are yordles in Shurima as well.
Also, his page http://gameinfo.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/amumu/ states that he is from Bandle City and the "Cursed Mummy" video shows Bandle City as his "home"

Oh. I thought you meant in terms of actual character and personality. Although the old Poppy wasn't necessarily weak, either. Her kit was just strange and a lot of people hated it.
Melledoneus1 votesHer character is stronger and more defined now. It's the story of a warrior out on a quest to find the hero to wield her hammer. In the end, she will realize the hero was within her the entire time.
Whut Thuh 1 votesher kit was unhealthy and generally uninteresting with 2 passives and a siimple damage/auto attack reset and a dash/cc when against walls. but her ult was unhealthy and most of the time"anti fun" and when i say that it doesnt mean that its broken or that it has no counterplay i mean that it feels unfair for all of a sudden you just dont deal damage to her and its so good in 1 v1 and in teamfights and unless you have peel masters like alistar or jayce or someoen who can cc her until it ends her ult is just not fun to play agasint. her new ult.. and all the new reworks and champion releases are focused on making each champ feel like it brings something different to the table and not just a warwick like kit. her abilites are now intuitive and her lore is exciteing this gives poppy an identity in the massive lineup of league of legends and a fun playstyle that allows you to give a big old skrew you to the enemy with her ult and if she is too weak then riot will buff her to make her viable both as a top laner and in the jungle
