What happens to the poor souls that get their essences stolen by Ahri? If she's taking essences from others to complete her own being, wouldn't that make her an assimilator?

Oh let's give Ahri a little buff! Whenever Ahri kills a champion, they cannot respawn until Ahri dies because their souls are still inside Ahri.
Of course, they would have to re-balance her by slightly reducing her attack speed and attack damage growth. Noobs might still complain, but come on, she has a lot of mana problems early on.
The way some people drool over the character, I'd say Ahri is an ass simulator.

I don't feel that bad for them considering how she steals the souls
Assimilators usually get the powers/personalities/whatever from what they absorb,but ahri only gets a very small part of the humanity(not necessarily in the sense of morality,but actually being human) from the persons.
So while one could argue that that would make her an assimilator on a very small scope,I'd say it still doesn't really fit her,because it is not like she actually absorbs something specific from her victims,because it doesn't seem like it makes any difference on wether she steals the souls of good or bad people(or any kind of people),while assimilators actually absorb something specific from their victims.
She gains power from taking soul essences, which would make her a lot like Thresh, who takes souls to strengthen himself.
