Why is Mordekaiser so badass?

Because strong characters such as Illaoi and Kindred see him as a "rival" (more enemy/abomination,but i'm seeing this as a "please notice me senpai") and still ,Mordekaiser doesn't give a damn.

Well, his death was metal as fuck too!

Impaled on countless spears, pierced by hundreds of arrows, standing on top of a mountain of corpses as he laughed, knowing that not even death could stop his unbreakable will.

Heck, even his armor's figuratively blackened by the hatred of his enemies as they charred his remains on a pyre that burned three whole days.

I still don't get how they killed him when he was back as a specters (when he got ripped apart)

I don't know either.

Seems so very strange. It sounds really cool though. In order to defeat him they had to strap him to dragons, metal chains wrapped around his limbs as they tore him apart. But they had to force Nightfall out of his steel clutches first or he would have smashed them like insects-.

He isn't from noxus. He was there many centuries before nexus was here and had his own empire. In the end, Nexus just took Mordekaiser's legacy (his fortress)

I didn't remember his first lore saying that he was from Noxus , In my memories he was stalking noxus but people didn't really know where he came from
