Why is Mordekaiser so badass?
Because strong characters such as Illaoi and Kindred see him as a "rival" (more enemy/abomination,but i'm seeing this as a "please notice me senpai") and still ,Mordekaiser doesn't give a damn.

Well, his death was metal as fuck too!
Impaled on countless spears, pierced by hundreds of arrows, standing on top of a mountain of corpses as he laughed, knowing that not even death could stop his unbreakable will.
Heck, even his armor's figuratively blackened by the hatred of his enemies as they charred his remains on a pyre that burned three whole days.

He isn't from noxus. He was there many centuries before nexus was here and had his own empire. In the end, Nexus just took Mordekaiser's legacy (his fortress)
I didn't remember his first lore saying that he was from Noxus , In my memories he was stalking noxus but people didn't really know where he came from
