English natives, don't suck at speaking your language

Seems this mistake is made by english natives(and americans) ,which is quite irking.

"Should have been"/"would have been" can be written as should've been, would've been.

"Should of"/"would of" have NO MEANING,it's just people pronouncing should've /would've which sounds like should of/would of.

Fun fact: The average American (US) speaks 0.8 languages.

Don't suck at punctuations...

been,would've been.

NO MEANING,it's just

English natives, don't suck at speaking your language

Like spaces after the comma. Oh, and you're saying that north americans aren't native english speakers? "English natives(and americans)"

Aside from that, anybody who has played on the EUW servers knows the struggle of communicating with that fellow teammate who seemed to skip english class.

As you pointed out it's a sounding out issue and I agree it should be avoided, However, I'm not sure if it's up to us to point it out.

I avoid, could and should have, because it seems passive.

I think 2, In the example below is better, but that's only my opinion.

Example:

  1. I should have skipped reading the post, I could have, but I did not.

  2. I will not read the next grammar police post.

I know right? IT'S SO TRIGGERING TO SEE IT EVERYWHERE AND I'M NOT EVEN BRITISH/AMERICAN, I AM GREEK, MY NATIVE LANGUAGE IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!! If i'm triggered so much with that shit, Natively English speakers should have their eyes bleed when they see it.

There's another grammar mistake that I see a lot that really annoys me, but for some reason I doubt that anyone else even knows about it:

"Yay" is not a word. "Yea" is pronounced how you would sound out "yay." "Yea" is not pronounced, nor is it short for, "yeah."

EDIT: Honestly tho, I don't care as much as it might sound. I just saw a post about grammar and had to vent. Sorry for coming off so aggressive.

As a former grammar nazi, I would offer you this piece of advise. Don't judge people for how they speak, or write. Even if it is wrong.

Think of it as character acting, would you yell at an actor on stage for speaking english poorly for their role in a performance? I should hope not.

Treat others the same way, don't force them to break character for your sake, it's not your place to tell them they are wrong or should change.

Perspective means a lot, I hope this helps.

I agree, it's very frustrating. My personal pet peeve is when someone says "hence why" in a discussion.

"I got tired of mowing my lawn, hence why I bought a goat." Should either be written as, "hence I bought the goat" or "that's why I bought the goat".

Use hence, or why. Not both.

In all honesty, who cares? It's a game. No one gives two craps about your grammar as long as you made yourself understood. English is a shitty language that's only convenient as far as communication goes.
