IS vladimir ever going to get a lore update Or a gameplay update?Considering 100% of his dialogue is puns and his role in Noxus is very vague, all people really know about him is -he was a creepy serial killer who got blood powers from a even creepier old man in a cave -he ran and joined the league so the Law wouldnt get him -somehow joined the Blackrose and Noxus for some reason -has really wierd singledip cone hair and striped PJ's

my Suggested Idea:

Vlad is some sort of Noxian Nobleman or Aristocrat who comes from a long line of Hemomancers and Dark art practitioners who were some of the founders of Noxus . Vladimir is a prodigy Hemomancer and he considers himself a artist and the battlefield is his Canvas. Vlad is able to do pretty cool things that only master blood mages could do such as Materializing solid weapons out of blood, using someones blood to control them, (blood bending/puppeteering) and transfusing other people with stolen lifeforce.Vladimir goes out into the battlefield to perfect his art and seeks to create the ultimate morbid masterpiece out of drained corpses that will go down in history(think the Mona lisa or The Creation of Adam). The battlefield is also ripe with lots of live subjects so to him a battle is a Blank canvas and full palette.

how does this fix vlad?

-by coming from a noble family who was part of the founding of Noxus it makes sense why vladimir is a Black rose now. -vlad considers himself a artist and as such this explains his stupid hair and uncanny clothes style -vladimirs now has a reason for fighting in wars instead of just living it up in his mansion -when vlad finally recieves a VU his moves can be alot more visually appealing Q:could be vladimir draining the blood out of an enemy forming it into a weapon and impaling them with it E:Vladimir "refills his palette" by pulling blood from all nearby open wounds into a amassing it into his Blood Orb .The more stacks of E the larger the Blood Orb. the larger the Blood orb the more graphic Ult:maybe instead of a simple pool of blood his Ult now creates a beautiful closed rose And as the ult pops the rose comes into full bloom

I definitely agree. That single jpg is already better than his current lore and the Blood Painter angle can really work with him.

He definitely needs to keep his corny jokes, in addition to adding more lines, of course. Vladimir's unrepentant love of puns give him more character and likability than so many other of the champions we have. We don't need another Talon (ugh).

Moar puns. From everyone. I am disappointed that we have several frozen water themed characters in this game and not one of them says "Ice to meet you." I want Batman and Robin level of puns. Arnold as Mr. Freeze puns. GIVE THEM TO ME!!!!!!

Vladimir main here. It would be nice if his rework would actually change his icecream onion hair into the straight ones. I agree about aristocratic family though. And I think that giving him some artist features would be neat as well. Overall I really like this.

I don't think he needs to be a nobleman to be apart of the black rose. Noxus's upside is that anyone can achieve anything there if they prove themselves.

Veigar is also a member of the black rose.

While I like your idea in regards to noble background and the artistic bit- the party about Vlad making weapons with the blood and hitting the enemy with it seems just a bit off the mark. It comes a bit out of nowhere and doesn't really enhance the kit itself or his lore. Controlling blood as a magical power is potent enough, don't change it to manipulating weapons for no reason.

For example, say you could remove bones from your opponent via magic- while you can turn them into a weapon and it would be cool- what's the point? Taking their bones is devastating as is. The weapon bit is just underwhelming in comparison. Now replace bones with blood- see my point?

Making a weapon out of your own blood is one thing, but when you can control and drain the blood of others via magic, turning that stolen blood into a weapon is redundant.

I like to think of him as a Blood Mage that resides in Noxus and is feared by many because he can easily kill any champion by removing the blood from their body.

Whatever they do, I really hope they keep the creepy old man. I always thought it was super cool how the knowledge and powers of previous hemomancers was passed down through the blood.

Aatrox also considered battle as a blank canvas. "Nobody understands me, they think my work's a hack job."

"This battle will be my masterpiece."

I think the difference is he goes farther than enjoying the massacre and the battle. He also enjoys creating discord, war and conflict as seen in his lore.

"Tryndamere, my greatest creation." (Ironically gets out-performed by Tryn in every way.)

I really like the lore update and VU, but personally I love where Vlad is at now in terms of gameplay. Your ideas are good, but I just can't say good bye to my favorite champion's kit.

Good concept, although I was sad when I realized the splash was from MTG. Either way, I like the concept.
