@riotvfx Why is this allowed to happen? Astronautilus' E went from being one of my favorite effects in the whole game, to a recolor of the new basic e.

No. Please don't. This is a pricy skin, it should be allowed to be flamboyant. I seriously doubt there were any LCS pros out there who said, "ugh that astronautilus e is too hard to play against plz nerf' so why must you change it? Clarity?? What a joke

Riot and their unwanted changes by the community. Good luck, even if they will hear you, they will still apply it. I feel sorry for astronautilus owners

I am going to be fair and say the old one has clarity issues, like major clarity issues, and maybe if they sped up the animation it wouldn't be that bad, but in the middle of a fight his damn E crowds over everything, and becomes clutter.

I get the reason the new one isn't prefered since it's a reskin, cept instead of splashes of water its smoke, rock chunks come up, and the color is different.

Completely just a minor reskin.

The old one has a lot of visual weight to it. An honestly, even when using this skin, you're not paying attention to the particles in the middle of a battle. They're just nice to look at while in spawn or jungling.

The new one has less visual weight to it, and helps you see what else is going on when it gets chaotic (this helps your teammates too). I don't think the change is too big of a deal.

If I would have to vote anything, I'd go for a mix-up of both effects. Let's not forget: Nautilus is a water-based champion. In his original particals, there was no water involved. In the new particles, there is just water, which doesn't make sense either if it erupts from under ground. So I'd call to keep the geyser-effect of the new particles, mixed with the debris from the old particles...

I prefer it on normal Naut, just not as much on astro.
