Please do not "overeact" on Eve's new splash.

TBH, there aren't too many differences in them. The teasers, which are usually animated, does not and never has equaled actual splash art. I can understand how you would "feel in your own opinion" that that art is better. Arguably, yes, that's because it's animated. Manage you expectations. None of the new champs ever had their teaser arts as splashes.

Saying that it looks "Cartoony" is a bit "low" taking in consideration what I said above. Come on people...

Um, the because it's an animation it should be "worse" not better. Lmao. I mean look at Taliyah's teaser.

Also expressing our disapproval isn't over reacting, it's exactly how other splashes got changed.

Taliyah's teaser and her splash art have nothing in common. And it's still over reacting. Tbh, if taliyah's face like she had it in the teaser was her splash, It would be considered worst.

This is basically "Hurr durr, the other one is sexier than this one I don't like it Hurr durr." And pulling the anime card sounds like a tantrum

I personally don't like how they put so much effort into making her "cute" (dimples, the eyes, her position) instead of of the seductive assassin she's always been

It's not just an art quality that disappoints me, it's the actual change in emphasis on her character and her style/theme that I dislike

Manage your expectations accordingly......... The art work itself imo still shows just how sadistic and seedy Eve is. You haven't even seen the reveal yet...

what do you even mean by that? Am I not allowed to prefer the hot, savage, and seductive eve over her cute "let me have dimples, a cutesy expression, and cat eyes" outtake that this splash shows.

you are implying that I said she wasn't sadistic and seedy, which isn't the case. I said I don't like how they're making her more cute than savage. Her image is more of a savage puppy dog than a deadly seductress based on this splash vs. her old one

dude...holy crap you've got quite an edgy and superior attitude. You still haven't explained what you mean by "manage your expectations", it's like you think we aren't allowed to have any negative opinion on the new splash yet...

Besides, when did I mention anything about the teaser? I even specifically compared the new splash to the old one in my last reply. Your argument isn't even making sense anymore.

I'll say it again, maybe you can form a relevant response:

Eve's new splash is much more "cutesy" and more of a "puppy dog playful" compared to her image since release as a "hot demon temptress that plays with her subject" (I emphasize "subjects" here to show how she thought of others as below her).

Her image has changed for the worse in my opinion, and it extends further than just the arts styles. Her very theme so far has changed for the worse.

Sure, her model could convey the image that eve has had, but that would only make her new splash out of place and I would dislike it even more.

So tell me, what about my reasoning to where I formed this opinion was unjustified.

Don't expect to the artwork to be just as nice as the teaser. May not apply to you but many others think like this. That's what I mean

actually i think her actual splash art face looks cartoony.the official art not the one taken from teaser.

but as i stated some place else too it could be simply the light and angle of the shadows. have to wait to see more of it. reflection on her cheek and the shape of the face and the smile.

well i like the VGU overall its outstanding i just dont like the official splash art thats all.you dont see it as a real argument that doesn't make it any less of a point. you want a real argument? very well.

the entire "it looks cartoonish card" is the argument itself. if you look at her face closely the shape of her cheekbones and her smile gives the vibes of a character from a animation for younger audiences it doesn't have that impact as her face in teaser! it doesn't look intimidating or evil at all. eve need to have her usual "attractive meet terrifying" theme to her regardless of how much she changes.

her number one trait in being a attractive and loved character is creating that contrast that inconsistency between feelings for whoever looking at her! and sadly the official splash art doesn't have that to it.i actually like the teaser screenshot better than the new splashart because it does.

and besides "its just a game" isnt much of counter argument either. its like putting realistic character like Geralt from Witcher 3 next to a character from Pokemon animation and then say "its just a game it wont matter"

but in the end as i said it could simply be the shadows and the light. she has her usual mischievous smile which is pretty great!
