I like skins as much as the next guy, but when I buy a skin I don't just want a texture update. I want a particle update as well. The main seller most of the time for me is the particles. If the particles are sort of eh I don't really want to buy the skin.

Tesla Effect5 votesI dont really see why Captain Fortune is 975 RP besides the Recall Animation, which honestly you could have just slapped onto all the other new MF models to begin with, the skin has no new effects compared to the other new skins and is just not worth the price compare to various other skins of the same price.

The cheap skins are an example of Riot being greedy. They're Riot's way of saving face after they introduced the 1350 RP skin tier. The difference between 750 RP and 975 RP in real cash is somewhere in between $1 and $1.50, if I remember the rough conversion rate. It's a negligible difference, but it gives Riot an excuse to ruin good skin concepts by not fleshing them out with new particles/effects/sounds/etc, unless they feel like giving "quality of life particles" (which are their way of violating their own guidelines for the 750 RP tier, a blatant display of hypocrisy, and a big middle finger to people who wanted the zero-particle 750 RP skins to receive extra features).

I want Captain MF to be 750 and give all other MF skins and classic (except Arcade) that recall animation. Why charge more for a skin that has no other animations while you dont actually fully update and give the VU champ a recall. The recall is not something special and can fit with other MF skins.

I think that Tesla has a point, if Riot is going to make a recall animation for a champion skins, all their skins (including the base) should have one as well. The animation shouldn't be a excuse to increase their price.
When Riot created Dominion, they made a "capture" animation for ALL the champions, not only a few... the same should be for the Recall, if they made a recall animation for all the new champions, old ones should have one as well... Maybe not a "super awesome recall animation", but how about using an already existing animation?...

Well yeah, how hard it is to make a recall, they already made on for the new MF, they just made it exclusive for an overpriced skin with no actual new effects besides that recall.
