I'm sure Riot eventually plans to replace hers, but I am of the opinion that it's not needed. Hers is very good, especially the face. Simply beautiful.
But I'm sure Riot gives no f#cks about just ONE opinion, so let's put it to a poll.

Vayne, Kayle, Ahri, and Janna had no one but the community to try and protect them, and it didn't work for any of them since it was just us. For Leona, The Parrot will have people's heads mounted on pikes if they screw her up, so I assume she's safe for an update...that's only an assumption though.

Chest bandages could have kept up the illusion that Akali is stacked. Instead, she's now canonically a B-cup max instead of a D. T_T

Sukishoo3 votesI do enjoy the face of the current splash but I would much more like an update to her as she is just one of the many that is in dire need of an update. The image really doesn't even show anything specific of what her champion can do, and that's a main focal point of the new splashes.
The image of her just standing there, not really like defending or using her power as a tank doesn't really give a good perspective of who she is.

Also, all the new splash art have been really nice and detailed, I don't know why you'd think if they did replace Leona with an up to date one it would end up cruddy.

Does it need to be a badass action pose?No,but it could be something besides her just standing there doing nothing with a bland angle & bland ass background.

As for Leona herself,I say take the chance to buff her a bit,you know give her some muscles.If the artist doesn't,that's fine as long as the splash is good.
Hell,if they want to alter her design a bit,I'm all for it.Though,not too much or else the in game model (which won't need a VU,most likely a small one, for another 3-5 years,visually the model & abilities are good) doesn't match the splash art.

Sorry for posting on a five month post. But that's what bothered me in the animation. Ahri makes sense, but Leona felt too Asian.
