Are there still thoughts about making a Champion from Runeterra's future?

NOTE! Jayce does not count toward this because he is not from 21XX or whatever. Pulsefire Ezreal also doesn't quite count, as the skin is only semi-canon, not full-canon.

I'm thinking a story like this one:

In one of Runeterra's possible futures (thousands of years in the future), the world is all but destroyed by the rise of the machines, brought on by Viktor's Glorious Evolution reaching its culmination. Mankind is near extinction, and all hope of survival is lost.

In a desperate gamble, the last human survivors create a time machine to send their last remaining soldiers to the past, hoping to avert the cataclysmic events that will lead to Runeterra's decimation. At the time of the machine's completion, however, the survivors are attacked and wiped out, and only one soldier, their Ace, is able to use the time machine.

This soldier emerges in Valoran during the Age of Champions (the current era). Learning that Viktor, the Machine Herald, lives in such an age, this soldier seeks to destroy him and prevent his Glorious Evolution from ever occurring, even if it means annulling his/her own existence.

Something of a Terminator vibe going on here, but with less Arnold.

Certainly a story worth exploring, IMO.

Id love to see a partly "evolved" by technology man that was becoming a supporter of Viktor but outright decides to revolt against him. Totally not inspired by Cyborg.
