Her updated voice over is...cute, I guess? I was kind of disappointed that it didn't expand on her role as a Demacian tactician, but puns are fun so whatever.

But now they've changed her pick and ban quotes as well, which makes me worry. Is Riot just going to cut Lux's role as a military agent out completely?

A) She has two skins entirely devoted to her role as a commander. Imperial Lux and Commando Lux. So that doesn't really make any sense.

B) It makes her character more one-dimensional. Before she was a cute little sister who was also an intelligent and cunning commander. Now...she's just bubbly and sweet? Why can't she be both?

I can understand expanding lore but I just don't understand shrinking it.

Commando and Imperial Lux are not canon... there are tons of skins that make no sense lorewise.

I'm also confused about the Galio update. Now he sounds like a stupid version of Vi... It reminds me of what they did to Taric. Apparently reworked champs aren't allowed any dignity anymore.

I wouldn't quite say she's a one-dimensional character now that she isn't (or maybe still is, but just doesn't talk about it :/) a high ranking military. Since Magic seems to be kind of taboo in Demacia, this alone can shape her character, as she would have to hide it in public, being all repressed and stuff. Taking her more into a direction where she questions the rules, rather than follow them blind.
