So where does Yorick fit into all this?

The writing and story is superb, don't get me wrong, but I can't help but be curious as to where the Gravedigger has gotten off too. Unless of course, he's not associated with the Shadow Isles anymore and his lore changed.

Most likely he doesn't.

Lore-wise, while he is from the Shadow Isles, he may not have much a connection with the predatory, overreaching Black Mist.

In regards to Yorick as a champion, he is scheduled to receive a big-scope character update, which usually includes a thematic revamping. Narrative most likely decided to avoid committing to a Lore for him before exploring him adequately, which will happen during the update process.

Did no one notice him in Hecarim's lore? -.- "Hecarim recognized a crossroads in his life and made a decision that would damn him for eternity. Instead of supporting Kalista, he drove a spear through her back and commanded the Iron Order to slay the inhabitants of the Blessed Isles. Hecarim and his warriors slaughtered the guardians until a lantern-bearing wretch finally led the king to what he sought - the secret to resurrecting his wife." Lantern-bearing wretch = Yorick This means that Yorick was an inhabitant of the Isle long before it turned dark.

He heard Graves was in bilgewater so he went there to dig him

Oooh! Ooh! I know. He is the gravedigger AND ferryman for the Shadow Isles. So if he is not digging up a grave, he is ferrying people to the Shadow Isles like Charon and the Underworld.

Who's Yorick?

TerraRising10/28/2015, 6:18:27 PM1 votes

He doesn't. Rito is waiting for Yorick's rework (late next year, if not later) to introduce his story. Better be worth the wait...

Axests10/28/2015, 8:41:44 PM1 votes

he'll probably receive his new lore when he finally gets reworked, after they've decided on his final theme and character design.

I like to imagine hes the janitor of the shadow isles. he takes the dead ppl and uses them. he doesnt actually make the people dead, but just uses them afterwards. Hes like the janitor cuz hes in the background. you dont really think of the janitor when you think of the workforce of a company.

He is no longer a shadow isles champ, his new lore will come on next PBE update...Yorick is now from the Voodoo Lands.

Plot twist: Yorick's going to make a surprise appearance near the end of this story-line and the entire board for the rest of the day will just be "OMG RITO MENTIONED YORICK!!"

What I want to know is what Maokai is facing during this. I know that his current lore kind of covers that, but it would be nice if he at least got mentioned. They could use his story to help provide a better visual of the island and maybe tell us more about how he was before the incident.

Yo, I don't know who this Rick is but he sounds terrible. Didn't he get deleted from the game?
