About the creation of Worlds....

So created the stars in the games lore, which in turn gave birth to planets and the life on those planets. All of that from the cosmic dust of the stars. Now we know created them and as far as we know there is nothing else in the universe except planets and stars. So what did the "gods" that riot mentions actually do? Kind of seems like there isn't much for them to do. They are also mentioned to be stronger than Sol, but without feats or any standards of them having done much, it seems like they have no ground to stand on when claimed to be stronger. I mean whats more powerful, stealing souls or filling the entire universe with stars.....

Well who are the "gods" that are so described? Nagakabouros? Because if you believe Illaoi's interpretation than Aurelion Sol falls in to her influence since he exists just like everything else, and Nagakabouros is all in that way of thinking.

Actually a tough question when you don't know how powerful a soul actually is.

Regardless, if I was to argue the power difference between Illaoi's god and Sol, I'd say Sol is weaker, but not in the sense that he'd be easily defeated.

See we don't actually know what Illaoi's god can do. We know that it judges people that she tests, but that's what Illaoi does through it. One cleric does not define the limitations of a god, they are a tiny conduit of their power. This tiny conduit of power however can drag out souls, so what could the full thing do?

Also, it's most likely that life on Runeterra happened naturally rather than being created by a god. Especially since Vastaya are described as "evolving like humans, except instead of from the ocean, it was from the magic around them". So no great being actually has control over life.

What they have is control over energy. At least that's how I interpret Sol's taunt to Ryze about how writing butchers the art of magic. Powerful beings like Sol can manipulate raw energy to their will, which he uses to create stars.

Illaoi's god? Idk, we are never really shown the gods power, just their power through Illaoi. What we do know is that her god is a god and Sol (as confirmed by Riot) is not. So it's safe to assume her god is stronger.
