Is there no chance of otherworldly beings anymore in League's new lore?

Outside of Aurelion Sol and the Aspects, is there no chance that we might get, say, a Champion who comes from a super-advanced high-tech race? For instance, a super-soldier who uses high-tech weaponry that goes into sci-fi territory rather than fantasy. Or would that be jarring for the setting?

If it's the latter, I can live with that and we can use skins as a source for that. Still, it'd be interesting to have someone who's technically an alien (like a Klingon) and not technically a fantasy monster (i.e. the Void monsters).

There are skinlines that support this. But likely they will leave it at that.

Bard is pretty otherworldly....or maybe he's more "everyworldly". Cosmic spirits of unimaginable power fall into that category, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is a race of super-advanced people. We're talking about the original Targonians. We could very well see one of them, although I'm not sure how it would work at all.

Doubt we'll be seeing that. Targon was described as one of the more advanced races and they are only using magic.

EDIT:With that I mean that I doubt that we'll get such a high-tech character,characters from other worlds are indeed possible,especially since the Targonians are a space faring race and likely have some other races as enemies who are present on more than one planet.

Well, Janna is a wind goddess in her lore. She's goddess of the disenfranchised and the underdogs (basically, all of Zaun), and she used to be a goddess of fair weather that sailors looked to for protection and safe passage (before the building of a canal).

I find that pretty otherworldly, myself. Janna

(But, I think I misinterpreted the question, since it seems you mean more alien, less wind goddess XD sorry)
