When Illaoi fought against the Black Mist, do you think that kinda slowed the Horrowing down?

Because judging from that Bilgewater map, the Harrowing came alot faster than before recently. But I wonder if that light from Illoai's god(nagakabouros) kinda hit it hard. I mean, that would surely Alert the Black Mist to be very cautious of going after Bilgewater again. Whatever Illaoi did even reversed the effect of undeath, giving many spirit release. '

Maybe they can stay a bit easy thinking that it wont come again next yr.
