As cool as it is that Riot is letting us vote on what Illaoi's next skin will be, we shouldn't let that excuse the fact that this champion has been out for almost two years now and they haven't even gotten past the concept stage on a new skin for her. For reference, the champions released just before and just after Illaoi, Kindred and Jhin, both got new skins within a year of release. Several champions have gotten 2 or more skins in the 2 year period since Illaoi's release, including Ahri, Yi, Kayle, Fizz, Kat, Ashe, Hec, among others.

Riot seems to have really dropped the ball on creating new skins for new champions. I am not an Illaoi player, but I am a player of three different champions released after Illaoi, and I'm very annoyed at the idea that I might have to wait 2 years to have a new skin for these champions. Jhin is the only champion released after Illaoi to have gotten a skin, and if being as ridiculously popular as he was is the requirement to get a new skin within a reasonable time span, I don't expect to see a new Kled or Camille skin anytime soon.

Its not like I want to go back to the days of every champion releasing with two really bad skins instead of one typically good skin, but the current wait for post-release skins is absurd, especially when so many champions with a variety of existing skin themes are getting very good skins instead.
