Nice new cinematic, Riot. You hired the guys behind Legend of Korra?

Good choice. Very good choice.

By the way, have you thought to make a compilation of anime shorts ala The Animatrix? I guarantee you that'd sell well, especially if you got it on the iTunes store or Netflix.

I'm thinking this is telling the story of (or is a retelling of) an event that happened in the history of Ionia? Because the Wonder Above teaser site talked about the arrival of the constellation, and as such, implies that the teaser site is a moment at least a significant amount of time after the video.

The people around the campfire might be the survivors - or the descendants of the survivors - maybe it wasn't a complete massacre after all? They don't seem to be holding a grudge against Bard, either way.

Thoughts?

The stone cut a mountain in half. A mountain.* In half*.

So from what I understand or at least my interpretation of events is the following;

Noxian Soldiers (maybe) invade the lands of the Bards, which is probably in Ionia. They were sent to take the ancient relics that reside there. Bard senses when the power is used and immediately guesses something's wrong. He appears and uses his power to whisk away the relics, taking them to someplace beyond the mortal plane.

I suppose this gives insight on to why Noxus invaded Ionia without a League to intervene; Boram wanted Ionia's ancient secrets for some reason.

I'm wondering what Bard's intentions are. He seems to not really care about people much, just relics. It seems like he could have done something to save the people, but only intervened when the orb was threatened...but if he had saved the people the orb wouldn't have been threatened.

so the bard appeared just to summon Ao Shin? because the old man said "we will die without him" and it was NOT talking about the bard.

Those dumb giants of the Silent Realm have made it here! (Legand of Zelda) The noise, shape, look...

It's from the same animators of "Warriors" and the Rek'sai teaser
