I wanted to provide positive feedback since I don't see much of it on these forums.

I liked all of the story elements for Freljord, Shurima, and now Sion's. I always felt like if you were going to do a story, that the summoners shouldn't really be part of it because I think it's just a bit wierd and takes away from the actual characaters you have in the game. I think you should be creating source material in such a way where you could create things off of it. Like comics, novels, more games, that sort of thing. I feel like you guys are heading in a positive direction and hope you continue the trend im noticing.

My only wish is to see how "Summoners Rift" map fits into all of this. Summoners are gone, so what exactly is Summoners rift then since summoners no longer bring these champions to fight in this battleground of theirs.

(Personally my favorite thing so far is Freljord Event. The music combined with the art and story made for the most fun event that I personally felt connected to. I think of Shurima had better music and art, I'd rank it at the same tier as Freljord, but Shurima had a massively better story presentation. GJ GJ. Sion story is shaping up to be equally as good.)

I do think they're doing great save for one crucial thing: they don't seem to be maintaining identities as well as they say they want to. Xerath is a generic evil guy at this moment and his tiny bio doesn't actually tell anything about the obsession with magic old Xerath had (though Xerath could be fixed next time we hear about him). Trundle got replaced by a brute (this one is just outright obvious and got me to lose faith in the new lore, read old lore and new voice-over before arguing it's the same troll).

If the lore department can't keep our champions' identities, their characters, intact while still using them then I can't carelessly enjoy their lore. I have to hold myself back from caring about these characters because it would appear they don't care about retconning old characters I care about and still use 'them' in their new lore.
